Appearance: The Lhasanese has really short forelegs and tall hindlegs.

Size: The female Lhasanese has an average weight of 14 pounds while the male is closer to 30 lbs.

Personality: The Lhasanese is a very friendly dog.

Temperament: The Lhasanese has a great temperament.

Family Dog: The Lhasanese makes a wonderful family dog and they love children.

Companionship: The Lhasanese is a great companion dog, very loyal, enjoys human touch and snuggling to sleep. They are like everyones best friend.

Eyes: The eyes of the Lhasanese are brown in color.

Teeth/Bite: The Lhasanese can have a severe under bite.

Body: The body of the Lhasanese can be very disproportioned.

Forequarters: The forequarters of the Lhasanese are very short and don't support much of the dogs weight.

Hindquarters: The hindquarters are very long compared to the front legs.

 

Color: The coat of the Lhasanese can be cream in color.

Training: The Lhasanese is very responsive to training and willing to work for their owners.

Behavior: The Lhasanese is a very sweet and loving dog who wouldn't hurt anything. Males may have a bit more of an attitude than females.

Barking: The Lhasanese will bark occasionally. Females seem to bark more often than males. The like to bark when visitors comes over.

Weather: The Lhasanese cannot tolerate the cold weather and should have a coat if going outside in the extreme cold.

Exercise: The Lhasanese does not need a ton of exercise.

Skin Health: The Lhasanese has very good skin health.

 

Eye Health: The Lhasanese can have really teary eyes.

Ear Health: The Lhasanese typically has great ear health.

Bone/Tissue Health: The Lhasanese can have arthritus in their forelegs.
