Characteristics: |
Affenhuahuas are intelligent and brave little dogs. They can be stubborn at times. Affenhuahuas are sensitive, playful dogs who like the Chihuahua tend bond with one person over all others.

Family Dog: |
Affenhuahuas make good family pets but are not recommended for families with very young children because of their size. They enjoy being around other dogs and pets, but they are small and should be supervised around other very large dogs.

The Affenhuahua's coat may be black, white, blue, red or wheaten and contain dark or white markings.

The Affenhuahua may have either a long or short coat like the Chihuahua.
