Appearance: Dobies have the appearance of a medium sized Doberman, but not as muscular, with a Collie face.

Size: Dobies are considered a medium sized dog weighing around 45 pounds when fully grown.

Personality: Dobies have a tendency to be amusing, goofy and lanky.

Family Dog: Dobies require lots of attention and should be the only dog.

Companionship: Dobies are very friendly dogs that are very fun dog to be around.

Ears: Dobies can have ears like the Doberman that are not croped.

Muzzle: Dobies can have the Collie like muzzle.

Tail: Dobies can have a tail like a Doberman which is usually not docked.

Color: Dobies can have the colors of a Doberman, Black & Redish-Tan.

Coat: Dobies have a short coat with an undercoat.

Shedding: Dobies are low shedding dogs usually just shedding the undercoat.

 

Grooming: Dobies need to be brushed occasionally.

Training: Dobies are fairly easy to train and loves to make you happy.

Behavior: Dobies are very calm dogs who love being petted, spending time with people and all the attention they can get. They can get jealous easily.

Barking: Dobies typically don't bark but howl occasionally.

Feeding: Dobies may show signs of food agression towards other dogs but not usually towards people.

Allergies: Dobies may have eye build up and sneeze occasionally but they do not have any known serious allergies.

Exercise: Dobies don't really like to run around too much. They enjoy being by your side hogging your attention.

Health: Dobies may need to have their ears cleaned quite often.

Skin Health: Some Dobies may be prone to dandruff.

Dental Health: Typically Dobies do not have any significant dental problems.
