Appearance: The English Setter Collie is a large dog with a very long body and tail. The head is slightly smaller and the ears slightly shorter than a purebred English Setter's.

Characteristics: English Setter Collies are obsessive mouthers and if are not licking or carrying something the can be prone to chewing.

Family Dog: The English Setter Collie is a lovely family pet. They are protective but not agressive. They are very good with children although they are not very aware of their size and tend to knock small children over. They are fine with other animals if introduced to them at an early age. They love other dogs.

Companionship: The English Setter Collie is a people dog that does not do well when left alone for long periods of time.

Color: The color of the English Setter Collie's coat can come in Tri-colour (a white base with black and liver spots) or white with either black or liver spots.

Coat: The coat of the English Setter Collie is medium in length.

Training: The English Setter Collies is relatively easy to train as they aim to please.

Exercise: The English Setter Collies is a very active dog that needs plenty of exercise.
