Appearance: The Jack-A-Bee can resemble a Jack Russell Terrier with a Beagle face or have more of the overall Beagle appearance.

Size: A fully grown Jack-A-Bee weighs between 12 to 25 pounds.

Personality: The Jack-A-Bee is a sweet, loving, affectionate, happy dog. They may be a bit skiddish around strangers if not properly socialized at a young age.

Temperament: The Jack-A-Bee may have issues with shyness and anxiety. They are sweet dogs who may show signs of aggression when they are scared.

Companionship: The Jack-A-Bee is a fantastic companion dog.

Head: The head of the Jack-A-Bee is normal sized for both parent breeds.

Nose: The Beagle side of the Jack-A-Bee is always sniffing.

Eyes: The Jack-A-Bee has big, brown eyes.

Ears: The ears of the Jack-A-Bee are medium to long in length and floppy.

Body: The Jack-A-Bee has a medium build.

Color: The coat of the Jack-A-Bee can be lemon-spotted (cream with tan spots) or white with light beige patches or tricolored (tan, brown and white). They may also have the spots on their skin like a Jack Russell.

Shedding: The Jack-A-Bee is a constant shedder.

Grooming: The Jack-A-Bee has very low grooming needs.

Training: The Jack-A-Bee is trainable but easily gets distracted.

Behavior: The Jack-A-Bee chews a lot and can be mischievous when bored.

Barking: The Jack-A-Bee can bark loudly when afraid and some do have the Beagle howl.

Feeding: The Jack-A-Bee may have trouble with table scraps and thus they should be limited.

Weather: Jack-A-Bees may not like rain or snow.

 

Allergies: The Jack-A-Bee may be prone to nasal allergies and itchy eyes.

Exercise: The Jack-A-Bee loves to run and requires lots of daily exercise to get a good night sleep.

Physical Ability: The Jack-A-Bee is a high jumper, fast runner and very strong.

Living Arrangements: The Jack-A-Bee can make a good apartment dog provided they have room to run and get plenty of exercise.

Health: The Jack-A-Bee is typically a very healthy dog.

Skin Health: Along with their other allergies, the Jack-A-Bee may have issues with itchy or sensitive skin.

Eye Health: The Jack-A-Bee may have itchy, red, watery eyes during allergy season.
