The Chusky is an extremly smart, funny and playful dog, yet at the same time protective of their family and always alert.

Coat:

The Chusky has a heavy dense double coat.

Grooming:

The Chusky needs to go in for a regular professional grooming.

Weather:

The Chusky does not tolerate the heat very well. If you live in a hot climate they need to be an inside dog or have somewhere cool to get out of the heat.

Exercise:

The Chusky is a combination of a working breed, so they need to be stimulated mentaly and the nonsporting Chow which makes them not as phyicaly demanding as the purebred Husky.
