Appearance:
The Chimo is a cute, fluffy little pup and when fully grown they are very strong and can run like the wind.
Characteristics:
The Chimo loves to swim and makes a good guard dog.
Personality:
The Chimo is a very happy dog.
Family Dog:
The Chimo is great with kids if socialized early.
Ears:
The ears of the Chimo vary and can be the pointed ears of the American Eskimo but normally are slightly softer like the Chihuahua's.
Color:
The coat of the Chimo can be white, ecru or brindle, taking after either one of the parents.
Grooming:
The soft, cuddly coat of the Chimo only needs brushing. They should not have to go to the groomer.
Barking:
The bark of the Chimo is more like the American Eskimo Dog; a mid-pitch, not sharp bark.
History:
The Chimo was created to have a dog that was smaller than an American Eskimo Dog and not a fragile as a Chihuahua.
