My Pitador
I own a pitador and she is a terrific dog,,, she will retrieve and hunt anything u want to hunt. She has caught squirrels, chipmunks, turtles, a coon and birds of all kinds, heck I dont even need a gun...lol. A very good watchdog but I doubt she would attack... she is a red pitador that weighs about 55 to 60 lbs and best friends with my German Shepherd.

Lilly is Great!
have a 9 month old 70 lb puppy named Lilly. She is great around kids and other dogs, a little pesky around cats, she is an amazing hunter already, instead of flushing a bird she sometimes actually catches it! I intentionally got the mix because the wife insisted on a female, I would have gone with a male lab, but I wanted to toughen up the female a bit so I went for this mix. She is very intelligent, and very easy to train, that is as long as she is well exercised, this dog needs to run 10 miles a day to be happy and well adjusted. Other more dominant, more mature, well trained dogs have been good at breaking her of impulse behaviors (chasing kids) Siberian Husky bulldozed her 3 or 4 times and she was cured of chasing after my 4 year old. She is 100% obedient. She always comes, she hates her crate but stays in it with the door open. so to break it down, beautiful beautiful dog, extremely high exercise requirement, excellent with my kid, great hunter, easy to clean, dries off fast, 100% obedient, most obedient dog I have ever had!

Jake
I would like to tell you about my dog, Jake. Jake is 1/2 Boston Terrier and 1/2 Chihuahua. I saw a need at my last place of employment (a special education school) for a therapy dog. I got Jake and started right away training him as a service dog. He was so small I had to buy the tiny size service vest for him, the patches barley fit on it! Jake went to the school, hospitals and every place he was requested. Jake can smell when my mom hasn't taken her meds, and alerts me. Jake is a member of dog scouts, Chico, CA. troop 187. Jake has learned about water and loves his hikes. Jake has earned the A.K.C.'s Canine Good Citizen award and had the canine IQ test on Sept. 20, 2009. He tested just under genius, as "brainiac". Jake is registered in the International Designer Canine Registry. He goes in restaurants, stores, malls and is very well mannered. He can go "off leash" in public and has been trained in the "proper greeting" with other dogs. Jake has been in a dog parade, he loves to dress up. He looks pretty cool in shades too. He loves to go anywhere, and rides a horse too!

When my male Shar-pei impregnated my mother's female Boston Terrier we were very concerned for her health. What we ended up with was completely unexpected. The female Boston delivered five healthy, beautiful pups. All males! Two were all brindle, which surprised us as the Boston is black and white and the Shar-pei is tan. Three were brindle with the typical Boston white markings. We only kept one pup, and he is a wonderful dog. His temperament is great, he is playful, protective and loving. At a year old he is twice as big as his mommy but not quite as big as his daddy. He loves to play with our other dogs, cuddle the cats, and loves to kiss and snuggle his people. He has an adorable face with the Shar-pei wrinkles and ears and a Boston mug. I love my Sharbo!

My friend gave us her Chizer, Lucy. She is the sweetest little dog. She has just turned two when we got her and she adjusted to our family right away. She is great with the kids that are around and she is very well mannered and well behaved. She is completely house trained and has not had one accident, even during the transition. She sleeps at the foot of our bed every night, follows me everywhere, and cuddles all the time. She is just a joy to have!

My Borgi
I own a Borgi and she is exactly how you describe her in this information page! When i first picked her up as a pup i didnt know what to expect, i only knew she was corgi cross border collie. But now shes just coming on 2 years old and yes she is very 'talkative' and energetic and has a beautiful nature to her!. it's great to see other photos of Borgi's also. they are a beautiful dog and a good size as i didnt want a large breed nor a very small breed. The only problem I have is the shedding of the coat where I am constantly vacuuming up her hair! but to me, this is nothing compared to the fun she gives us!

My Little Lexi
:I got my baby girl 5 years ago from a little mom & pop pet store for $100. At that time she was just called a mutt. (Border Collie & Black Lab mix) After having nothing but German Shepherds all my life,(having 4 of them at home already), I took my sons to the little pet store for snake food. Well, let me tell you, it was love at first sight, I knew I couldn't leave without her. She was the sweetest little puppy I'd ever seen. Needless to say, she's still the sweetest dog I've ever owned. She sleeps in my bed with me every night, with her head on my pillow, and even lets me put the covers on her. She acts like she's attention starved ALL the time, and she gets the most attention because she demands it. She's very good with my 2 year old grand-daughter and my other dogs. She even gets along ok with cats that hang around outside. She won't even chase them out of her yard. These dogs have the best temperment ever! I would definately recommend a Borador to anyone looking for a sweet, loving, loyal dog. Although I must say, she is quite fat, must be from the lab in her. But she's my sweetheart.

Our Weimarrott
I live on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia and have owned a weimarrott for 9 years we got her from a breeder in brisbane. she has been the best dog we have ever owned - excellent and loyal, brilliant with the kids, great guard dog although would never hurt anyone as she has such a gentle nature but her bark like the Rottweilar is very scarey. she is getting on now and we would love to get another weimarrott so if you know of anyone in australia that is breeding them please let me know.

Cava-Tzu
I love my cava tzu. He is the best thing to ever happen to me. He is completely obedient with his owners and will do anything to please them. He does have a little bit of the stubborness of a shih tzu, such as when he wants to go out, he must go to a certain place all the time. I would recommend a cava tzu to anyone. Cava tzus may have an underbite due to shih tzus have one. My cava tzu has the hair of a shih tzu and many people believe he is a shih tzu although we try to leave his ears, and tail long.

When ever he wants something he comes and sits directly in front of me. The first two weeks Peanut learned 3 tricks sit, up, and lay. When anyone talks to him he moves his head from side to side as if he was saying "umm humm". Peanut is very smart and full of personality!

Chloe
A little over a month ago I purchased Chloe a 3 month old Bichpoo from a breeder. Although my husband has had dogs growing up, I never had one so I was nervous but excited when I brought Chloe home.
She makes owning a Puppy sound so easy...from the moment we brought her home she began doing her potty outside. She literally has made only 4 mistakes @ home.
She is a little weary of strangers @ first but once warmed up to them she is very friendly. She is really good with my 15 month old niece even though my niece likes to boss her around. She loves the other dogs in the building and although she cries when I go to work, when its night time she voluntarily goes into her crate and gets comfy to go to sleep. There are times when she wants to snuggle with me on the sofa and times when she prefers to be alone playing with her toys. She learned the sit command in one day and I am going to start training her on other commands soon.
I cannot be happier with my little girl. She really is the best dog I could have ever hoped for.
I hope you all agree that a bichpoo is all around a great dog for your family.

Freebie Dog
I got my borador for free when he was 12 weeks old from a lady who said she was going to take him to a pound if he didnt have a home by the weekend. I couldn't let such a cute puppy go to pound so even though I had two dogs already I took him home! He was a shy, timid little guy when i got him but now, at 6 months old, he is 40 pounds of lovebug! He is so gentle with kids, listens extremely well, and is very easy to train!
However, he heards people and other dogs! Some people find it extremely annoying to be nipped at but me and my family have put this trait to good use by letting him heard his "brother" a JRT into the house when he doesn't want to come inside. Such an active dog needs a job to do!! He also eats anything he can get his mouth on, sticks, shoes, the side of my house.... u cant leave anything out that you dont want to be devoured!!
He is by far one of the most awesome dogs I have ever owned!

Great dog for kids
Our pup is about 2 1/2- we got him as a 3 month old pup when our youngest child was about 7 months old. As a puppy, he was extremely energetic and playful- knocked the kids over many times trying to play with them. Now that he has matured and our youngest is going on three years old, he is the absolute perfect dog for them. They can do anything to him and he will still cover them with kisses (though they may not like that!) He still has tons of energy, but we laugh when he tears around the yard or house like a madman! These dogs love attention, though, and will bother visitors in your house for their entire visit, just looking for an ear-scratch! Despite that, we love him to death and think he has turned out wonderfully. Added bonus- absolutely no shedding! But you do have to keep them very well groomed to prevent knots in their fur.

Buckie
I have always said, "Anything smaller than a cat is NOT a dog!" that is until I received Buckie. A bo-chi, malnurished, dehydrated, and fearful of human hands. I wrapped him in my shirt for warmth, and agreed to take him home for rehab. even though the animal control officer was convienced he wouldn't survive. He did. He was my companion from that day on. We went everywhere together! He was my comfort, greeting me when I entered the door, even if I had just gone to get the mail! He slept behind my knee, or beside my head, depending on if it was thundering (the louder it got, the closer to my face he got) Buckie was killed by a pit that broke through my glass door, and entered my house. I have tried finding another like him...so far impossible! Bochi's are not a popular breed here yet, and the ones I find online are WAY too exspensive!! He was my friend, and I will never forget him, and Niether will my children, he was very patient and kind to them, allowing the youngest to paint his nails, or put bows on his tail, he sat at "tea parties" and sat on their bed for nightly cat in the hat readings. I miss my buckie!

My Lab-Chow Mix, Sadie
I was very lucky to find my dog Sadie in February of 2005. At that time she was 6 weeks old and a big fluff of soft, puffy Black hair. She was a loving and playful puppy and looked more like a bear than a dog. Now, nearly 5 years later, she is just as loving and the most loyal dog I have had. She has been my girlfriend's closest companion for the past 5 years and hopefully for many years to come. I know a Lab-Chow mix is not considered a "designer mix" (Not yet, at least, ha,) but she has been everything I can ask for in a dog. She is kind to other dogs and strangers--but protective when she needs to be. Her temperment is great and she loves us. We love her, too.

Two Meagles
I have two meagles that are litter mates (Pounce and Fizz). They look like small,(but tall),thin, black and tan beagles. They have long floppy ears and they sweetest faces. They are super sweet and love nothing better than cuddling on your lap or in bed with you. They are quick learners but love to chew, so we go through lots of dog toys and rawhides. They also like to dig and we had trouble keeping one of them in the fence for awhile. They are 8 months old now and as big as they'll get. They are about 15 and 17 lbs. They're quite tall for small dogs and can jump extremely high. They definitely need a home where someone is there most of the time. I work part time and they hate being left alone even for that. I think as they mature that will get better. Anyway, I love them to pieces and they really are turning into nice family house dogs! I would recommend a meagle to someone who wants a small dog that has lots of energy for playing but who also loves snuggly naps on the couch. I also have a two year old that they get on well with. Socialize early and frequently with other dogs, they bark incessantly when they see strange dogs and we are working on getting them used to going to dog parks. All in all, they are a challlenge for a busy family, but worth it.

The Rotterman
I got my Rotterman Herman over 7 years ago. He was adopted at 8 months old from Recycled Rotts in Chicago. At the time I didn't even know the breed had a name. We've had dogs since 1979 (mostly dobermans and labs) and this dog is the best dog we've ever had. In fact our lab passed away and we want to aodpt another Rotterman.
He is a beautiful dog though he is very large 30 in. 124 pounds therefore needs a lot of exercise so would not be a good apartment dog. He is extrememly smart and easy to train. He has a great personality and gets along with both people and dogs. Unlike many dobermans, he loves to go outside and stay outside, even in the winter.
He loves kids of all sizes even though we have none and not a lot of visiters with kids. But Herman loves playing with little or big kids.
If you have questions or know of a Rotterman that's available in the Wisconsin area (including Chicago) you can contact me at nissenmasonry@yahoo.com.

Courage
I love my Morkie! His name is COurage and he is almost 1yr old now. He only weighs 8 lbs but don't tell him that. His best friends are a boxer and a pitbull and he holds his own at the dog park. I am very pleased with his personality, he is never timid nor aggressive in new situations and he can go anywhere with me that he is allowed. He was easy to train to sit, stay, give high five, sit pretty(beg), stand and twirl, and lie down and roll over and speak. The one issue I've had is with housebreaking him. He has improved and we have found a routine that seems to be working for both of us. I hear that the Yorkie is difficult to house train by nature so I know that even with some setbacks the best thing I can do is be consistent in reinforcing good behavior.

I got my Chiweenie almost a year ago from a family that couldn't keep her. Bella has turned out to be the best little dog a person could ask for! I didn't think I'd like a little dog but wow was I wrong. She's a happy healthy little girl. She is a couch potato most the time but she has her moments off and on during the day where she loves to play. Little Baby
My little snowball is half Long hair Chihuhua and half Japanese Chin. He's absolutely precious and adorable. He was all white when I got him at 8 weeks but is now white and red/brown. He is now 8 months weighs 4 1/2lbs and he looks more Japanese chin than he does chihuahua. It is just that he does not have the plummed tail. He is very smart, playful, and alert. He has attachments issues and cannot be left in a room by himself. He whines and barks when he's alone. This is the only bad side to him. My pomeranian just ignores him when he does this (everything about her is perfect).

Our Silky Tzu
I bought a Shih Tzu X Silky Terrier when he was a 3 month old puppy. He was very shy and timid at first. However, he is now a one year old and has become quite dominant at home. He has the 'squashed nose' and coat of a shih tzu but the colour of his hair is that of the Silky Terrier. He is the most loyal dog in the world. He is great with children. However, been a Silky terrier cross he can be quite agressive towards strangers and other dogs. He loves cats and seems to be more interested in those than other dogs. He has a great sense of humour and is very intelligent. He is a house dog and therefore, has bonded really well with everyone in the house. He can be stubborn, moody and an attention seeker. He loves to play alot. Whenever I'm sick he seems to sense this and guards me while I sleep. I have found Shih Tzu x Silky's would be perfect for a couple or a small family that can accomodate their need for attention. Their coat however, is VERY high maintenance. It does require brushing, especially when it gets quite long and they like to dig and play in the yard. Alot of prickles and sticks get caught in the fur. Shih Tzu's are prone to respiratory problems and I have found my dog has a very sensitive stomach. Best to never feed this dog 'human' meals or leftovers, only dog or cat food. They can form bad habits if not disciplined straight away and this can be hard to break. Overall, a very beautiful, loving, loyal, intelligent companion. He is a very affectionate, funny dog that doesnt require alot of exercise. Simply running around the backyard is enough to keep him healthy.

I have a 1 year old Dalmador, Laney, and she is a wonderful dog! I got her as a rescue. She is mostly white on her body except for one big black circle on her back and one eye is black and the other is white! She is a great watch-dog, is wonderful with my 5 month old son, and is very playful and protective. I did catch her the other day chewing on my shoe though! I would recommend this breed to someone like me, who doesn't want a little yappy dog, but doesn't have a lot of space for a real big dog either. She is a good medium size, about 50 pounds. She is also good with my cats, they don't like her too much, but she really wants to be their friend!

Tilly's mother was a purebred Basset Hound, dad was a purebred Golden Retriever. Tilly weighs a fit 42 lbs with a friendly temperament. She is usually obedient, but has a tendency to chase rabbits and squirrels - occasionally catching a young one. She loves to run and play fetch, and is surprisingly fast considering she has her mother's short legs. She is very strong for a dog of her weight. She loves to play with other dogs and with kids. She adores my 11 year old son and so far, has been very good with strangers and seems to really like children. Our Chonzer
We own an incredibly intelligent & loving 4 year old Chonzer named Archie. Both my husband and I have severe dog/cat allergies, but thankfully Archie does not shed and neither of us seem to be bothered by his dander. As a puppy he was salt & pepper colored, but as an adult he is mostly white with some grey strands speckled in. He's only about 1 1/2 feet tall, but about 3 feet long. He has the round bischon head with the schnauzer snout. He looks little, but is very stout weighing in at about 35 lbs - and he is strong!
Unlike the pure breed schnauzer, he is not a yapper at all. He only barks when he feels the need to protect or defend - which is often. He is very protective of his surrounding and apprehensive with strangers. However, he is extremely loving with us, as well with those he has met before. He adores our company and loves to travel. At home he's energetic, but not overly aggressive. He's equally happy cuddling on the couch or playing fetch. And he loves to swim!
The only health problem we encountered with Archie is a food allergy, which we were told is rare and not necessarily a result of the breed. We discovered this after getting a second opinion for chronic ear infections. The fix was simple - prescription food sold at our pet store and it actually doesn't cost too much more than what we were feeding him to begin with. The only challenge here is that we have to be careful not to feed him anything other than his prescribed food and treats; no table scraps.
We have Archie's coat trimmed frequently in the summer and less in the winter. He tends to get overheated easily, so we keep his hair short during hot weather. He's not bothered by the cold, but does have some difficulty walking on snow (pieces of snow/ice get stuck between his toes). Again, easy fix - doggie boots. He had some trouble at first with them, but got used to them quickly. We only use then we he has to walk through deep snow - packed snow is no problem.
He hasn't had much interaction with children yet and as I mentioned earlier, he can be aggressive towards strangers at first. He makes a great watchdog (also he's not trained to be one) and a very loving companion. He is very intelligent and was very easy to train. Archie listens well, but is independent in nature and has a tendency to ignore us if he sees another dog.
Overall, Archie has been a great addition to the family!

Our Jack-A-Bee
My wife and I have had our Jack-A-Bee Josie for almost a year now. We adopted her from an animal shelter in KY where we lived at the time. We had been searching for a dog for a while and the second we saw her face, we knew she was the dog for us. We went and adopted her that same day.
She's one of the sweetest dog's I've ever had. She's got a TON of energy and I try and run her in our backyard everyday (weather permitting) and she loves it. We've got a creek near our house that she'll drink out of, but doesn't like to go in the water. She's quick and loves to chase the rabbits that are in our yard too.
As far as training goes, that has been a little more on the difficult side. She's learned sit, stay, down, wait and off. When we're home she'll run back and forth between our front door when she needs to go out, but if we leave for an extended period of time (i.e. work), she can still have accidents, but she's learning and they are getting to be more rare.
She loves to play and loves to be around us. Crate training is a must when they are puppies. She can reach my shoulder now when she jumps (I'm 6'0''). When she's playing she doesn't want to be held back, but when she's tired or in cuddle mode, she loves to be between my wife and I on the couch snuggled under a blanket.
We love her so much and even with some of the headaches of training, we're so glad we have her.

Harly is a shitzu-jack rusell rat terrior mix. Very cute and loveable! This is a wonderful mix, great tempermant and gets along great with other dogs and cats his size. Lager dogs can play a bit to rough so even though he wants to play with all animals i try to limit his play to smaller animals. Harley is 12lbs but thinks that he is 112 lbs! He LOVES to follow me around the house and doesnt wander far when outside. He likes to run and play but also loves to curl up with me at night. He doesnt bark very often, only when someone is at the door, not at random people or animals walking by the house. He loves to go on walks but is also happy to just run around the yard. He plays well with kids and loves his stuffed toys. I would recomend this mix breed to anyone who wants a small loyal companion!

Sasha the Doberman Bulldog
Sasha is a dog I got as a six month old puppy in 2005. Her birthday is on March 7th, and every year she gets treats. She is very protective of our family and also very loyal. She is always alert and makes a great a great watchdog.
Her disposition is very friendly and she is great around little kids. She doesn't like males a whole lot though, and whenever I take her outside she must be on a lead because she will lunge at our neighbors if they're too close. We've only lived here a short while though, and she's beginning to become more social.
Sasha is able to adapt to many different types of life styles. She has been an outdoor dog, house dog, watch dog, and family pet and has done remarkably well at being all of those.
She enjoys running and is very playful. She is also very intelligent and observant.
Her heath is very good. We haven't had any problems with her ears, teeth, bones, coat, or anything.

Bailey the Soft Coated Wheatzer
I have a 2 yr old Schnauzer/Wheaten Mix named Bailey. He was rescued from a puppy mill at 18 mths. He was borderline ferral and in just 1 yr he is a spunky dog, full of bounces and barks. He loves his mom and sisters, but is still scared of daddy probably due to some tramatic event in his past we are still working through. He loves to chew and run. True to Wheaten fashion, he cannot be trusted off-leash and is an opportunistic runner. Although he does not run away, a game of catch me if you can will ensue if you let it. He needs moderate exercise, and does bark on occasion to let you know when some one is home. We are working on a Wheaten type hairdo and his cottony, wool type fur is in need of constant attention. He is hypoallergenic and sheds very little.

My Papastzu is truly a great dog! He is very friendly and loves people! The biggest issue he has is jumping up on people and like any puppy is into everything! He is always a happy dog and is very trainable. He can do multiple tricks. He does love to cuddle and be affectionate to my husband and I. He's the best dog ever!

I think Kashons are WONDERFUL little dogs. Mine personally is very protective of me, yet will still let 2 yr olds hug her. She barks at people, animals and even butterflies! We figure she is more Cairn then Bichon because of how frisky she is! Surprisingly she is an amazing agility dog!

Best dogs ever
are blessed to have two Pug-Zus of the same parents, different litters. Chester is larger than most Pugs and Bailey is smaller than most Chihuahuas. Both are short haired. Chester has dark faun coloring while Bailey is all black. Both are incredibly intelligent and loyal dogs. They are playful and extremely affectionate. Our two are very self-confident and display few signs of anxiety or concern at any time. They tend to be high energy but also know how to calm themselves and cuddle up. They are very sympathetic and loud noises or raised voices put them on alert and cause some anxiety in both dogs. They are full of love and give it unconditionally. The best dogs, ever.

He seems to have the yorkie hair. Not real long but enough to brush. He 's a real cutie and very sweet. Very good with my grandchildren. He weighs under 9 pounds. Very smart.

Snickers
Hi my name is Erica and i have an adorable 1 and a half year old Pugarin named snickers(full name Snickerdoodle)She is a wonderful dog that has been through a lot in her short life. I got snickers from a pet shop in Jacksonville Nc over a year ago. She was very tiny and the third most cutest thing i have ever seen! She was so small i use to take her to Walmart inside my hoodie pocket, and I'm a size small. She has always lived a very privileged life with the best food and lots of affection. She has the funniest personality and extremely playful, she makes the funniest noises i have ever hear a dog make. I love my mama(her other name, one of many)and i know she loves me. Last March, my husband and my two sons were on our way down to fl. to look at a few homes, and we left our dogs with a house sitter. We were 3 hours away from our destination when we received a phone call that devastated me. Our two dogs were hit by a car going at least 40 mph. Our German Shepherd was just fine but Snickers was lying in the middle of the street almost dead. She was rushed via police escort to the animal hospital. 3,000 dollars later, a cat scan, feeding tube inserted into her neck, multiple medications and a stay at the Raleigh NC Veterinary School, she is almost all better. Her left eye has an ulcer in it and she has gained a lot of weight since the accident(she had to eat a high calorie dog food)She is a strong dog and i love her like she was my own daughter since i have none. She is my mama.

We just got our newfie-lab, Clifford last week and are in love with him. He's a wonderful puppy. He's 9 weeks old and is quite a calm pup. He's definitely got some spunk in him when he wants to be playful, but mostly likes to be around the kids lying down wherever they're playing. He enjoys swimming in the lake and loves to be with other dogs. All around a wonderful adition to the family.

Bauzer the Miniboz
Bauzer the Miniboz is an absolutely wonderful dog. She is incredibly smart--at 10 weeks (her age at the time the enclosed picture was taken), she already knew all of the basic commands (sit, down, come, stay, off, drop it, leave it, look at me) and learned to ring bells on the door when she needs to go outside to piddle. She's extremely friendly with people and dogs alike, and is especially popular with people (everyone in the apartment complex and local PetCo knows her by name).
She is eager to please and loves to curl up with her pack leaders. She gets a lot of walks every day--probably around an hour total over the course of 3 to 4 walks. Each day, she goes through "Bauzerker" mode for 5 to 30 minutes, where she likes to run around the apartment as fast as she can, grabbing toys along the way. It's cute and non-destructive, though not always desirable if you're trying to relax at the time.
Bauzer is left alone in a crate sometimes during the day, even when we're around, to help her with separation anxiety (she had it when we got her, but doesn't usually whine at all when we leave anymore). Now at 13 weeks, she's perfectly fine in a crate all night long for 8 hours, rarely ever whining to let us know she has to go potty.
As for barking, she does it very rarely. Her bark is not at all squeaky. In fact, she sounds like a much bigger dog than she is (currently 8 pounds), with a deeper, throatier bark similar to a mastiff breed. If she barks at all during the course of the day, it's only during playtime.
Bauzer is a very balanced dog. My wife and I have both watched almost all of the Dog Whisperer series, and I've read all of his books. We apply Exercise, Discipline, and Affection in that order. It has allowed us to integrate this strong-willed little pup into our pack without any issues, and has lead her to become almost perfect!
Food and treats: We feed Bauzer dry food only. She is currently getting an organic dry food and loves it. Her treats are also usually her normal kibble, especially during training, to keep nutrition consistent. Sometimes, she'll get one of a couple special types of treats that are equally nutritious, and on heartworm medication day she gets wet food wrapped around the meds. She gets no scraps from the table, and therefore never begs.
Quirks! All dogs have them. Her main little quirk now is that she gets carsick. If we feed her within an hour of driving and drive on the terrible Massachusetts backroads, she gets sick to her stomach and sometimes throws up. We're trying to take her a little every day or two to help her get used to it. She also loves socks and shoes and is very persistent about it (she's never destroyed anything, but we don't want to encourage it), so we've taken to putting both beyond her reach.
All in all, Bauzer is honestly the best dog I've ever come across at this age. She's still a puppy, yet is a better, more balanced dog than almost any we meet in our walks or at the local pet stores. She's already been through puppy training, and was the best-in-class (and was even used as the example for other dogs by the trainer!). If you're willing to be consistent and can handle an intelligent, willful dog, the Miniboz is a perfect hybrid breed. They're hard to find, but if you can find someone breeding purebred Miniature Schnauzers with purebred Boston Terriers, you're in for a real treat.

Missing You..
We adopted a rescue borador last October. We already had three dogs at the time. In August 2009, he began to stop responding to simple commands and one day he snarled terribly at me. The following week without provocation, attacked our pom. The next day, we had to say goodbye to our beloved borador as we realised he had the capacity to be aggressive. The pom suffered two bites and is now nervous when all his other pals playfight. As a dog trainer and whisperer for over 25 years; it was a decision that broke our hearts. We knew after he snarled at me; his eyes, the stare, the sound, the dare.. I always said I couldn't keep a dog I was nervous of, so when he attacked our pom, it was the last straw. Until we lost our borador, we had a total of six dogs and he was their best friend until he decided he wanted to be the boss of me and them. So please understand a borador is not suitable around smaller dogs and will try to dominate. If they do snarl, back off, give him time to calm down but NEVER EVER EVER give the dog back to a rescue centre; for they will only pass the dog on to an unsuspecting member of the public where the dog could maim or kill or be savagely beaten by its new owner... that is why we took our vets advice; sad as it was and deeply broken hearted about our loss; it was in his best interest, our best interest and the publics' that we made the decision we did that day...
Do I miss him... oh God, yes... I miss his big tail, his mischevious behaviour, his funny and affectionate ways.. do I miss him growling at the others, waiting to pounce, the unpredictability.. the vet was right..
I do believe that dogs chose a leader when in a pack; but this only relates to dogs in a wild environment. At home, it's different, the dynamics are changed and the human is the leader of the pack, it's their rules that stand, not the dogs. The borador challenged me and paid the ultimate price..
We lay him to rest soon, we miss him, we loved him and we were with him till he took his last breath.. God bless him and all the animals in the world; especially those in countries where they are chosen to be somebody's dinner...

Our Wauzer Rocky
family dog, Rocky, is a wauzer. He has the greatest personality. He loves everyone A LOT! He is independent, but does like interaction with people as well. Rocky likes to relax most of the day, basking in the sun when it is possible, and after dinner he likes to play. Rocky can get into trouble from time to time. True to the nature of a terrier, he is a hunter. He likes to bring us birds and rodents. Other activities he enjoys is playing with other dogs, digging (for chipmunks), and swimming. He is a great family dog, and if all wauzers are like Rocky, I would recommend one for everyone.

My Chusky
I have found the Chusky to be a fantastic family member. A great mix if you have a active life style, and like the idea of having a dog that will take care of your family. I have found this mix to be extremly smart, funny, playful, yet at the same time protective of there family, and always on alert. If my dog thinks she hears something, she's checking it out.
This mix is a combination of a working breed, so they need to be stimulated mentaly, and the nonsporting Chow makes them not as phyicaly demanding as the purebred husky.
They do have a heavy dense double coat. Regular professional grooming is a must. They also don't tolerate the heat very well. I live in the south, so I don't recommend them for strickly outside dogs. Mine is a house dog only. She is quite spoiled to her air conditioner.

Loves to cuddle and go for rides in the car. Such a joy to have her. Dad was the Bichon Frise, and Mom was a long hair Dachshund. Pomahuahua
I like the name Pomahuahua better than Chiranian. My little girl is named Sukie and she was a rescue from the MSPCA in Massachussetts. I come from CT and drove five hours round trip to adopt her after I saw her on Petfinder. She was a stray and her teeth were so bad they all had to be pulled. So now I have a 4.5 lb little ole' Pomahuahua that I hand feed soft food to. And she is the love of my life! Goes with me everywhere, sits tucked in the crook of my arm and I can't go anywhere in public without being asked constantly what breed she is and how gorgeous she is. Especially with her fluffy summer puppy cut.

Tough little dogs
We have had our two puglands for 3 years now. They are great small dogs. They are easy to care for yet very rugged. Ours walk between 3-5 miles a day and come back ready to run around the back yard. We have a 19 month old son who has not known about life without a pugland. They have always been good with him and have put up with typical toddler prodding.

Bowser is a two and 1/2 year old Ba-shar (half basset/half shar-pei) He is the love of my life. He weighs about 30 lbs and has big brown loving eyes, short little bowed-legs, and long floppy ears. He almost looks like a little hotdog :) and he is a big-time attention getter and show-off. His favorite things to do is cuddle (he loves 'tv time' on the couch) or he loves to play with his sister Misha (a full blooded shar-pei) they play like wild banshee's and just have a riot together. He loves his toys, but he REALLY loves chasing and killing wild animals (which is a downfall, but bassets are natural born hunters, so what can you do really...) He also loves to do tricks for treats, and when we have company because then he gets even more attention. He is obsessed with sniffing people's hair and breath. People freak out when they see him because he is so darn cute and different than any other breed of dog out there.

He is tan-brown, and white. Has MUCH energy and has the cutest little bark howl. He's so loving and affectionate and was easy to train though it's hard to get him not to tug on the leash as he wants to run free!

I think Kashons can vary...
My Kashon is quiet, snuggly & content when at home with just us; but if anyone comes to visit, she gets soooo excited. She must have more of the Cairn personality because she does bark quite a bit and has an adventurous, independent spirit outdoors. She always lets us know if someone has stopped by. Oh, she watches TV & barks at any animals real or cartoon. If we bring her to the pet store, she wants to check out absolutely everything and believes everyone is her friend. She can be a bit stubborn yet at the same time, loves to please people. She's somewhat of a clown and will "talk" if she wants something. Our Kashon is about 17 pounds and does shed a little. She does require brushing but doesn't get too terrible tangled. She does have allergies, poor thing. Great small/medium-dog!

My Cavestie
My cavestie is a very friendly girl who loves people and other dogs. She's small (about 11 pounds and short). She is a great housedog who is content to snuggle up and wait for us to return if we go out, with no destructive behaviour. She loves playing and walking but her favourite pastime is cuddling up on the sofa with the family. I have never known a dog who wants to snuggle so much! My only criticism is that she loves the sound of her own voice and loves barking and growling at passers-by and at animals on the TV. The barking is purely for attention as she loves people making a fuss of her, and beckons other dogs to play. However, it is annoying, but is this perfect little doggy's only fault. She is now 2 and has had no health problems. I cannot recommend having a cavestie enough.

Zukey
purchased Zukey at 9 weeks. In purchasing a Chonzer I was hoping to get the best of both breeds. My husband has some allergies to shedding dogs and I wanted a small dog. I also did not want a "yapper." I work and have been crating her. Here is the routine I have been following: In the morning (5:30 a.m.) I walk her for about 20-30 minutes. She eats breakfast and then is outside for an hour while I get ready for work. I bring her back inside, brush her and then crate her from 7:50 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. I come home and walk her for about twenty minutes. She then returns to the crate until 4 p.m. when I return home. I take her for another 20 minute walk after I return home from work and a final walk before retiring her to the crate at about 9:30 or 10 p.m. We have intervals of play and quiet between returning home and when she is finally crated for the night. She has not had one accident and is quiet in the crate. She has learned to heel on the leash. I am really surprised at how quickly she picked up my routine and how well she has learned to heel. We live in town so she is being exposed to a lot of sounds--dogs barking, cars passing by and different people. She is a very happy puppy (active) and is generally "perky" and enjoys being petted and played with. She has learned to fetch a small toy and return it. I hope to enroll her in puppy classes in August. So far a Chonzer has lived up to all of my expectations and more. If this pup is typical of the qualities found in this dog, I am sold on this hybrid. She combines the sweetness of a Bichon and the sturdiness of a Schnauzer. She is quiet and is definitely not yappy. I have heard her bark only once and it was while she was "rough house puppy playing in the evening." She has the ability to be very active and then be able to calm down and stay quiet in her crate. She is brushed daily to keep her coat smooth--but the brush has no stray hairs in it because she does not shed.
I am looking forward to watching this pup develop.
Sincerely,
New Chonzer owner.

Our Jack-A-Bee
I picked up a Jack-a-bee at the animal shelter for my older dog, and it was the best thing I could have done. I thought she was a bit older, but when I brought her to the vet for her wellness found out she was 1 year to 1 1/2 years. I now think she is more in the 1 year category. She is white with light beige patches on her hair, and has the jack russell spots on her skin. Her skin is very sensative. She is very active. She loves to run, flip, then roll on her back and is full of energy. She has my older dog running for hours at a time. She is loveable, and affectionate. She is a bit skidish which could possibly be from neglect from before She arrived in my life. She is not potty trained but is learning. I had to put diapers on her cause she is a bit hard headed. She loves to jump, and play, and can play for hours on hours at a time.
She is a welcomed addition into our life, and I miss both my dogs when I have to go to work. She looks like a jack russell, and her face has bichon qualities. She has corse thin hair. There is no undercoat with her hair. She weighs about 12 pounds, and loves to eat. Her ears are floppy, and adorable. I keep clothes on her to protect her from the sun. I will also make sure in the winter time she has clothes on since her hair is so thin.
Well, that is all I can think of, but she is such a wonderful dog,and I love her. If you want a dog with energy, a dog which will give you lots of attention, and want to play and keep you laughing and on your toes this is the dog for you. Plus she is very smart and understands what I am saying even if she doesnt want to pay attention at times. As I call it a puppy brain fart where they forget there home schooled training, lol.

Baby Prince Anas
Hello my neighbors just gave me a chimation. He is the cutest little dog. He looks like a chihuahua in his size and body built; but has all the markings of a dalmation. Baby Prince Anas loves to play, loves to walk, and when I get on the computer he thinks he has to be right there in my lap the whole time. Now on the other hand trying to house train him is something else because the people who had him, had him outside instead of in the house. I've been trying to find pictures on the internet of chimation's but there is limited pictures of this type of dog. It makes feel good when I walk him an people will stop and ask what kind of breed he is because they've never seen this breed. He brightens up my day.

I did not realize her dog was not "fixed", neither was mine. Hence 61 days later we had 3 beautiful Chesties. They all came out black with white paws and white undercoating. There is a hint of brown in them also. They are all 11 months old now and gorgeous. They weight from 5 to 7 lbs. Wonderful dispositions. Lovable, playful and extremely intelligent. I woul recommend these dogs highly. I personally kept one. I named him Chester. Mom is so excited to have her baby with her.

Tucker
Tucker was born on 12/3/07. He is an amazing dog. Very obedient, a quick learned and extremely loyal. He quickly learned all the basic commands.. sit, shake, speak. He's been the perfect guard dog. He is also very energetic. He loves coming in at night or when it's too hot or too cold outside, but for the most part he really enjoys being outdoors. He LOVES to swim, has lots of energy, and has his own idea of what the game of "fetch" should be sometimes... he likes to bring the stick back and taunt you with it or daring you to say "drop it". He's very territorial. He barks to alert you when a strange person or dog has approached the house.... but immediately calms down when I tell him it's okay or he recognizes the person. He's very playful at the dog park, he likes to play with everyone. I actually got Tucker b/c he was a surprise to a neighbor when their black lab fell in love with the silver weim next door. Once they had the puppies they googled it and found out that it's really a hybrid breed. Tucker is an amazing dog, and absolutely gorgeous! People are always asking me what he is. He has a lean body like a weim but the head of a lab, and still has the pretty blue eyes!! He doesn't shed most of the year but once summer hits, it takes some effort to get all the winter coat brushed off really good. He has the course lab hair (water resistant) and it's longer than a weim, so I like to shave him in the summer to help him stay cool, since he enjoys being outside. The vet did mention his back are more like a weim, and gave me some joint vitamins to prevent any problems he could develop later in life. But overall, he has a great temperament, has lots of energy, but loves attention and affection... especially when he cuddles up on the couch with you. He takes up more of the bed than I do!!

The border collie/ lab mx is awesome! We adopted our Borador from a shelter at 10 weeks, and we have been so happy with her. The description fit her well. She is 8months and 35lbs, so she should be 40-45lbs full grown.
She is so sweet and plays great with other dogs. We had a different name picked, but then we met her and she was so sweet we had to give her a little girly name. She loves being near me, but then is also quite independent. She is not that much of a barker. Just occasionally when she thinks people are coming to our apartment. Yes, I have her in an apartment, but she gets lots of time at the dog park everyday and our complex has a giant courtyard for the dogs to run and play. Exercise time is a must for these dogs!
She is incredibly smart! Its amazing how fast she learns things! At first I didn't want a border collie mix because my friends pure breeds can go "crazy," but a mix is perfect. She runs around other dogs sometimes, like she is herding, but she never nips at them or anything. She plays so gentle as well. She loves to carry her toys everywhere...there is the lab in her. She loves to chew bones and toys. She likes fetch, but then after awhile gets bored of it and goes a smells everything.
Socialization was important for her. She was very shy at first and it took a lot of patience and trips to the park and petsmart to get her used to people, noises and other dogs. She still can get a little spooked with loud noises, but is much better.
This mix is awesome. You have the intelligence of a border collie and a little smaller body than a full grown lab. But you have the sweetness of a lab and the fun personality of a lab. I feel the lab tones down the border collie's personality, while keeping all of its great characteristics. Then she has a bunch of the lab characteristics that make you just loves labs. Great Mixed Breed!!!!

Chill dog
We just bought our 14 week old st berner Buddy for my 5 year old son. This dog is great. I was a little scared at first thinking he was ill or depressed. He is just a chill dog not hyper at all. He has his moments but due to his size I put limits on jumping and I walk him every morning and sit outside with him at park at night(i don't walk him too far at all, no more than half mile). When walking him I make sure he stays at my side or slightly behind me never ahead. He is already 40lbs at this age and would walk me if not trained early. He is real smart but goofy and clumsy. He had 1 BM accident in the first week and slowly stopped his territorial urinating in the house the first 2 weeks. He is very eager to please but sensitive I have to tell my son not to yell at him but be stern. He is pitiful when you are disciplining him and takes it extra hard I choose my battle and remember he is a puppy. Rewards work way better with him. I would suggest teaching sit asap...this helps me when walking and he already sits automatically when I stop (may be laziness) I also demand him to sit when he gets ancy and under my feet so i can walk through the house without tripping or trampled over. Keep his favorite treat for listening to your demands and after you give him a demand be sure he knows your not mad just showing authority. This is going to be a loyal friend and great family dog.

have a 6 month ShiChi who we have had since he was 6 weeks old. He is a fiesty little thing at just 8 lbs. I can see both breeds in him. He barks alot when people drive by or walk by our house. We enrolled him into a puppy training class to help with his behavior but he still snaps and nips at my girls ages 7 and 11. He is also a loving lap dog most days and demands belly rubs from us. However he has his momments when he gets moody and will nip and growl at the girls. We all have battle scars to prove it. We are getting him fixed next week in hopes that he will calm down some.

The Hava-Apso
This is a great mix, much cuter than Lhasa or Havanese purebreds. I think I would definitely get one again.

Buddy our Chion
Buddy is our 11 month old Chion. He has been very difficult to train, but he has added a lot of personality to our already busy household (4 kids, Lhasa Apso, and a cat). He is 5 pounds, very smart and loves to play with anyone or anything. He is very tentative around strangers, but warms up to women and children very fast. He is fawn colored with large triangle-shaped ears and a really funky coat that I haven't seen in looking at Chions on the internet. It's medium length wiry hair growing through short hair. He kind of looks like an unkept old man. I never thought I would enjoy a small dog like this, but like I said in the beginning, his spunky, playful personality has added a lot of fun to the household and I'm glad we got him.

My Border-Aussie
My Border-Aussie is a red merle named Bristol (named after the race track, not for political reasons). He has one blue eye and one green eye.
He has the characteristics of a Border Collie in body style, and tail. Also in the ears, but he's 6 months old and his ears keep changing. One week they are erect, the following they are semi- erect.
His Aussie characteristics are his eyes, and coat. The length is more typical of a Border but the texture is DEFINATLY Aussie.
He is a great dog! I grew up with a dog that was mixed with both Border and Aussie (along with other things) and she was the greatest! As an adult I wanted to get a purebred Aussie for the family, and when we were conducting our search we came across an ad for Border-Aussie puppies. We couldn't resist. What better 2 breeds to mix together?
Bristol is a shy and will fear bite. Of course only when scared (hence the term fear biting) and is very sweet and loving. He wouldn't hurt a fly if he dind't feel he was in danger. So, going to the vet is a little tricky, but he's improving. He trains easily, and was housebroken in a week. He is also very well behaved off leash. He roams in the yard freely as well as runs and plays, and when we go to the park, he is off leash to play fetch with his ball. So, he comes on command beautifully.
He is such a great joy to our family, and my kids and myself couldn't live without him.

Maxwell
I gave my husband, Steve, "Maxwell" for Christmas. I did't even know there was such a thing as a schapso. My daughters friend had a schnauzer, rocky and they were baby sitting their in-laws lhasa apso and apparently "fell in love". Well some weeks later there were 8 new puppies and we were given choice of the litter. My husband picked Max, and it has been worse than haveing another child. He is sooooooo cute and smart/ Now 7 months old, he is house broken, loves his new sister Graceie (a boston terrier)and wins the heart of every one he meets. He sleeps with us, of course, on his back with his head creeked over to the side. He loves kisses and is very jealous of anyone giving hugs that don't include him. thanks for letting me brag... My Mastador
Rufus is about 16months old now, He showed up on our property when he was 7 months old weighing 70lbs now he weighs almost 200lbs. He sneezes when he lays upside down and he is a total mommy's boy. We go for walks several times aday and he is best friends with our cat Regal. He has seperation anxiety and will chew up stuff if I don't keep him away from my stuff. He minds very well and is scared of bugs that crawl but will eat a moth if it is flying. He is totally black with only a few hairs of white on his right shoulder and the mowhawk down his back. He has very expressive brown/gold eyes and he smiles when we wrestle. He only barks when I am working on the laptop for schoolwork (I am in College) and when he thinks that I have not payed attention enough to him. Roofie (that is what I call him) is totally muscle and love, he only has not liked three people so far. My Husband is a dog groomer, so we have a lot of dogs come through and he is nice to them all. He does not bark or grawl but puts his butt up to my legs and walks backwards to get me to back away from who ever it is that he does not like. One night about midnight we were outside and he heard a noise and grawled. I asked him to stop and listened there was a noise accros the street at the car dealer. We went inside and I told my husband. He and I went outside and called the police because there was a person trying to break in to the building. He told us that there was someone there. Roofie loves car rides and thinks that he is to go every time I go outside to leave no matter what time and where I am going. He is a total joy in our lives. He is not just my dog but my son, and acts most the time like a teen-ager.

Great Family Dog
In December I got my son a Beabull for Christmas. He wanted a dog and so did me and my boyfriend but we live in an upstairs apartment of a two unit house and were careful in the breed we picked. We didn't even know about Beabulls when we were looking into getting her and there wasn't a lot of information online-but we did it anyways. It was the best decision we could have made. Kona is the most loving and playful puppy in the world. She was easy to house train and training her in general has not been difficult. Since there is beagle in her, walking her has been very trying as she is always wanted to sniff anything she passes. In addition, she does have a little bit of seperation anxiety and if she could, would be at our side at all times, including while we sleep! Kona is just learning that she can bark and she is going to be six months old next week. At first we thought she would howl a little more than bark, but we were wrong. The one thing we had to be careful of was the winter. Being a short nose dog-being out in the cold when she was a puppy was really hard on her and she would hyperventilate a little bit. Our vet said that it was normal because of her nasal passages and of course because she was so young. We think that she will remain fairly short but will fill out. She has taken on the bulldog look in the face and in her stance but for sure has the curiosity of a beagle. She is great with my son and with other dogs-she shows submission at first encounter with dogs but holds her own and is ready to play in a minute. A beabull is a great addition to a family or even an individual. She loves to play but will also snuggle right up to you when its time to settle down. She snores something horrible but its the cutest thing!

I am the recent owner of a Borador...
I purchased her through a breeder. The first night I had her... she was very stressed and anxious. She had a lot of diarrhea and vomitting. All she wanted to do was lie down and sleep, looking sad and forlorn. The second day, she began to eat better, and by the time night came around... she wanted to play and bounce around.
Since she has become more sociable, I am noticing the following traits while attempting to train her. She tends to resist going outdoors to "do her business". She regularly pees in out kitchen! Sometimes, she will pee when we place her outside, but mostly, she will pee once we've brought her back in after thinking she wouldn't go!! This is a little frustraing, but hopefully with time, she'll learn. I have been trying my best to leash train her... this is going wery well. She walks alongside me, but is TERRIFIED of cars and the noises they make. Walking along busy streets is impossible - I have to carry her, but side streets are fine and I expect she'll get used to it! I am able to let her off leash in large grassy areas, and she will come to me when I call to her and tap my thighs. I am unsure if she is adept in the "come" command, or just wants to be near me because she is becoming attached. Sit, stay, and the rest are works in progress.
As a puppy, my borador is very at ease. She prefers to spend her time indoors lying on her bed, quietly chewing her toys, or following me around. She is sometimes very excited to play, and will nip and bite playfully... I am working on this, and have not yet made any progress.
In conclusion, I am so far, happy with the dog. She seems very intelligent, and is definately loving. She appears to seek my approval... just a feeling I get from her. Hopefully she continues to grow to become as lovely as she is now, minus of course, the peeing in my kitchen!

My dog is a Schnoodle
His mother was an Silver Miniature Poodle and his father was a Black Miniature Schnauzer. His name is Stassi, and he was born June 1st, 1999. He is Black with a little white on his chin, and has silver "feathers on his legs. He has the floppy ears, one more so than the other, and has a docked tail. He is long legs, 14 inches to the withers, like a poodle and he weighs about 22 pounds. He is very active and likes to have you throw the ball all day or he likes to see if he can catch the squirrels on the back fence. He appears to be "aggressive" when you meet him as he comes running and growling, but that it his way of saying Hello.. All you have to do is reach down, pet him and he's happy. After that he general leaves you alone unless you have a ball or food. He is very spoiled and if you don't pay attention to him he will "get in your face" and start "telling you off, for not paying attention to him". He is a very vocal dog, and likes to talk a lot. When he hasn't see either my husband or myself for a hour or so, you get that high pitched squeal that drives us nuts. He goes to work with my husband everyday and has since he was 4 months old. So he is in a construction van all day rain or shine. We leave the van door open for him and he get out when Jim is on job sites and runs around checking out all the employees and owners of the houses. He never goes pass the house Jim is working on, and never goes into the street. He gets pretty dirty so he gets a bath every Saturday, which he HATES. He has been going to the same groomer since he was a puppy. He walks in an immediately starts the "High Pitched Squeal", than they say "Stassi's Here". He is very good about being groomed but her hates the dryer. During the summer Stassi is clipped with the Schnauzer cut, but during the winter his beard is short and his hair is long. He looks like a bear cub. He is in the the snow a lot so we let his hair grow long

Our Yorkie Pin
We've always had big Dobermans and never expected to ever have a small dog. But one look at our Vito and we were sold. He is SO intelligent that it's scary.
He takes after his Yorkie Daddy more than his Pin Mom.
We call him our tall Yorkie. He has The Minpin Nose and tall legs. The rest is all Yorkie.
He loves people and other pets. Actually he IS the only dog EVER to get along with our senior female Doberman. She just turned 14 on Valentines day and never EVER let any other dog come near her like she does with Vito. They love each other after only 7 months.I could talk about our Vito forever and I will try to update here as he gets older.

Checkers
is a magnificent little dog. We got him in the spring of 2008 - never thinking we'd fall for a small dog...but, it was love at first site. He's been just perfect, easy to train, well behaved, well socialized. He's just delightful. We had a little scare around Valentine's day - he got very sick and they thought he might have a liver shunt. He doesn't - but he does have a small liver - only about 50% the size it should be - so he has some difficulty processing some food, but he's okay. I would get another peek-a-poo in a heartbeat!

Our beautiful boweimar
Our beautiful boweimar, Dyson is thew best dog we have ever had. He has the biggest personality! his face is soooo expressionable. We have had a bit of trouble with separation anxiety- choose anything he can get a hold of with our sent on it. He is exceptional with our 4 children. My six year old lays on him every chance she gets. He has never minded. He thinks he is a lap dog. A 90 lbs. lap dog! He does have an aggressive sounding bark and will meet you at the door. I don't think you would come in unless you were let in, but when put in a sit stay until company comes in then told go-great his fine. Very smart easy to train. I believe he is the full brother to Bella Serra out of Fostoria MI. Dyson's birthday is 1-11-08 and we purchased him in North Branch.

My Bulloxer is just over 1 yr. I agree that an apartment is not suitable for this breed. Mine can be very hyper at times and very clumsy. He is very good with my 6 month old daughter. He immediately took her in as his own. I have only seen him aggressive once, and that was at when he was getting neutered. Otherwise he is a wonderful buddy and watch man.

mastibull is almost 6 months old at the time of this writing. 03/06/09. I have had almost every type of bulldog oh the market in my life, and I loved them all. This time I went with the largest of them all, the mastibull. This dog is amazing. He is naturally quiet, smart, loyal, gentle, and easy to teach. When I got this pup @ 9 weeks old he was 21 pounds. 4 months later he weighs 70 pounds. I am sure he will mature well over 100 pounds. Altho huge he is as quiet as a mouse. No barking, which I hear is normal for the breed. He doesn't even snore, and if you keep the nails clipped you won't even hear him moving in the house. Even at the alarming rate of growth, he only eats 5 cups of food a day. Another wonderfull thing about him is he will not cross over our property line, we live on under 1 acre. I could go on and on, but I won't. I recomend this dog to anyone. By the way he is great with my 2 and 3 year old grand children, cat, and other dogs.

Our little guy...
Our little guy is named ACE for the Amish Country Experience my 3 kids had in finding him here in Ohio. He is a year old, weights 6lbs, and is very healthy and loveable. He is at his best an adorable, maybe a little odd looking lap dog who wants to be completely snuggled up to someone 24 hours a day. At his worst is when the doorbell rings and his guard dog side comes out. He has frightened the tallest, biggest, and baddest football player friend of our daughter's and he will protect her at all costs. We don't know WHAT he is going to do when she leaves for college this fall. We did everything right, socialized him early on and have kids here all the time, but a little light bulb switches on in him when he thinks his "person" needs his protection. Somehow, despite his thinking that he is much bigger than he really is, we all adore the little guy!

My Fourche Terrier
I adopted a Fourche Terrier Male when he was a 10 week old puppy. He has been very healthy, but has grown much bigger than I imagined. I have read that most Fourche Terriers are small dogs. Our's weighs 26 pounds, and he is not fat. He is 11 inches at the whithers, and 15 inches from collar to base of tail. He is longer and a bit taller than his Westie Mother.
His shiney fur is various shades of brown, rust and black, mingled together. He has a white patch on his chest and a milk chin. The fur is thick, but if brushed weekly, has never had problems matting. It does not shed. He prefers to be insde during hot weather. Our groomer gives him a Westie cut about every eight weeks, which keeps him looking quite handsome. If left unclipped, he looks like a small sheepdog. He became a bit itchy last autumn. It seems to have been a seasonal thing. He has displayed no health problems of any kind and has a hearty appetite.
He enjoys a brisk walk, but also is content playing in his fenced play yard. He enjoys playing fetch and is good with children and adults.
He is smart, affectionate, playful loyal and sometimes, very stubborn. I know of one person who had a Fourche Terrier that lived to be 15 years and 9 months old. The Fourche Terrier makes a delightful companion.

My dog is a Shih Tzu x Silky Terrier. He is the typical alpha male. Very small and very cute (which he uses to his advantage!). He is very intelligent and will watch you perform tasks and then will repeat them at a later date. He is protective of food and toys and is constantly finding treasures to hide in his basket. He is a loyal companion and often pick up if you are feeling upset or sick. He will wait in his bed until he hears someone get up in the morning and then believes that is his cue to keep them company. He is a passive dog, rarely barks and has no desire to "escape" the backyard. He is pleasant to cats and dogs, however, often forgets his little stature. His coat requires alot of maintenance. He thrives on attention but has the most lovely nature. He uses his good looks to get away with mischief, but he picks up commands and tricks quickly.
