I do know that they are prone to losing their teeth. Does anyone else have a crested mix that is older than 1 year. Do they have the weird crested teeth? Any problems with them? Please let me know as Fugleys teeth are the crested kind and not like other dogs I have owned.

Questions about Brushing Your Dogs Teeth

How often do you brush your dogs teeth? Our vet said you should really do it 2-3 times a week to keep up their dental health. I am just wondering how often everyone else does it? What kind of toothpaste do you use? We have some brand of enzymatic paste that is suppossedly the best, any opinions? Thanks!

There are 4 replies, with the last one on 8/4/2008 at 12:26 PM by JLRose06

Reply: I don't actually brush our dog's teeth. I give them (and the cat) a greenie every other day or so and that has been working great. I have started my 8 week old Schneagle on them as well. The animals seem to love them. I have tried other products, like the dent-a-bone, but it has made one of the schnauzers sick, so I stick with the greenies.

Looking for a specific toothbrush!

Hey, just wondering if anyone has ever come accross this toothbrush for sale without the paste sample. It is a CET Cat toothbrush. It is the only brush I have found that is small enough to easily get to the back of Lacey's tiny mouth. Our vet has the packages with the samples but I would rather just have the brush and get paste in a tube from the petstore as it is easier to use. Here is a picture of the brush www.virbacvet.com/cet/product/cet_cat_toothbrush_with_toothpaste_packet/

Please let me know if you have or do see just the brush available.

Thanks!

There are 1 replies, with the last one on 6/6/2008 at 3:01 PM by ashleycameron

Reply: Hi, Site you have give has helped me...
I needed that tooth brush to my research book;;
Thanks
