Please Add Breeds

I tried adding the Boykidoodle (1/2 Boykin Spaniel & 1/2 Poodle), but there is no Boykin Spaniel on the list of breeds. Can you please add this so I can add my breed? I breed Boykidoodles, and they are wonderful dogs! Not only are they wonderful companions, but you will not find a better hunting dog! I know Boykin Spaniels are relatively rare, but I did not like the health problems associated with the breed, and they could not hunt in colder weather. So, by crossing them with the poodle it made them a much better hunter and a much calmer house pet.

Reply: Welcome! I have added both the Boykin Spaniel and the Mi Ki to our purebred list. You should now be able to submit your mixes. At this point we are only adding mixes to our list for our members as we have received lots of *spam* mixes by people disliking our site. We are trying not to have our list *polluted* and keep it to only mixes where people actually own a dog and can submit valuable information and pictures. Having siblings on both communities

Is there a way to add siblings on both communities? I have purebred Doberman and Min Pin and our newest addition is Labardane on designer community.

Reply: Whoops! Sorry, thats what I get for not checking it after I posted it. I have fixed the link above or you can get to it under or Dog Bios section. Which I will be working on changing over the next few weeks to get this new information in. I welcome any other suggestions/questions you have. Thanks!

Jack-a-Poo?

I am a Jack-a-Poo owner and have been a member of this site for a while now. But, I'm wondering why the Jack-a-Poo isnt included in the "mixes" section of the forum.

I was thinking, instead of just poodle mixes, you could have other mixes as well. Although poodle mixes would be the main thing of course, you should allow other mixes to be posted as well. Such as puggles and lachons, and other great mixes.

Reply: Hi everybody, I was thinking of getting an adorable chocolate female Havenese poodle mix. Is this a wise choice with kids?. Are they hard to housebreak? I read this, and I also read they bark a lot. Now I am having second thoughts. I heard the cavapoos are easier to potty train. Any part of the bichon group is suppose to be hard to housebreak. Should I let this worry me?. Thanks in advance, I wont be on here long, I'm falling asleep.

I hope this is in the right place... but I'm really having a hard time seeing the forums. I believe it's the colors. Would you consider changing them? Just a suggestion.. although I like the color scheme... It's just hard to see.

Reply: Mary, I darkened up the heading backgrounds a bit so they wouldn't be so bright against the darker background. It seems a bit easier on my eyes also. Thanks for the suggestion. They are really appreciated. Keep 'em coming... THANKS!

Hi, I noticed all the breeds you added! It's great!

Anyway, I thought it'd be neat to have a "general chat" section. Like a place where we can post things that aren't covered by any of the other sections...

Reply: Welcome Mary! The site has been up since August 22, 2007. It is growing slowly. I also have two chipoos. They are really the sweetest most wonderful dogs I have every owned. Good luck with your chipoo if you get her. Please post some pics...

Well this site has been live for a little over two months now and we are making progress towards building a community. I am hoping to get some more members to help build up our community and make things more active here. I am hoping some of you can suggest some new features or improvements that you would like to see on our site. Is there anything that you would like to see changed, added, etc that would make the site more appealing? I would love your feedback and suggestions as to how I can help us build this community.
