4 Weeks Today!!

So, it has been four weeks since Lacey's surgery and she seems to be making progress. I emailed the surgeon earlier in the week because she is still holding her leg up when she walks around in the backyard. Our backyard is pretty uneven and he said as long as she is walking and making progress on other surfaces everything is probably healing fine and it will just take more time for her to feel more comfortable using it in the backyard. I hope that is the case. I just want the to be the last time we ever have to do this!!!

Just over two weeks!

It has been just over two weeks since Lacey had surgery. She is starting to put a little weight on her leg. I have to take her out to the sidewalk to get her to walk on it though

. She won't put any weight on it on the grass because of how uneven the yard is. She is getting her wonderful personality (and attitude

back).

Hopefully, everything is going to heal properly and my poor little girl will not have to go through this again!
