Living with a La-Chon

Personality: La-Chons are friendly, affectionate, gentle and playful dogs. They love people especially children. Some can take after the Lhasa Apso and can be very headstrong.

Family Dog: The La-Chon loves children however some do not long for the companionship of other dogs.

Shedding: The La-Chon is considered a low to no shed dog.

Training: La-Chons be stubborn and be very hard to housebreak if not done properly. Crate training is the way to go with this mix.

Exercise: The La-Chon does best with a daily walk.

Living Conditions: The La-Chon is good for apartment living. They are very active indoors and will do okay without a yard.

La-Chon Appearance

Size: The La-Chon is usually 10 to 15 inches tall and weighs between 10 to 20 pounds when fully grown.

Coat: The La-Chon has a non-shedding coat so they need professional grooming at least every 3 months. The longer you leave the coat the more brushing you will need to do. Many people have the coats cut in either a puppy cut or a teddy cut.
