My Kiwee Babe

Two of my mother's dogs, a large male chihuahua and a female Peke-Pom mix, mated and produced 7 Cheke-A-Poms on November, 14th 2010. Three black-brown ones, 4 blonde ones, one of each color with blue eyes, the rest with brown. My two daughters, ages 2 and 5, got Kiwee as a Christmas gift. A close family friend and her children got a female at the same time that they named Cookie.
He loves to go on long runs/walks, chew and play. He's a excellent fetcher and this summer when he is a little older, we're goig to try frisbee and flyball. He and his sister are very loving and spoiled little dogs. He was very easy to train to go outside with few pee mistakes. He hasn't had a poop accident since early March. They don't eat much, they are fine living in an apartment as long as you walk them. Trust me, the won't let you forget their walk. Even though he is still teething, he doesn't chew ANYTHING around the house except for his own toys and chews. There is another litter coming in about a month and since everybody that meets him (them), adores him, they'll be gone before their born.

Avoid if concerned about shedding

We have a sweet eskipoo male who is 8 months old. We chose this mix after much negotiation in the family -- my number one criteria was no shedding. Well, we have a very sweet and easy to train little dog. Absolutely adorable, but he does shed. I wouldn't consider it low-shedding, either. There are times when it's low shedding, but there are also plenty of periods when I'll vacuum the floors only to find flying fur balls the next day (seems to map to changes in weather: warmer = more shedding). The hair literally floats in the air. So, I guess I'm relegated to constant vacuuming and lint rollers planted at the door. He is a great family dog and has been easy to train. Very sweet disposition and a smart dog. However, if shedding is your concern--particularly due to allergies-- you can find other smart/sweet breeds and mixes that won't shed.

Yona

I have a labralound who is 3 months old, 38 lbs. He is self assured, calm and yet very playful with our two kerry blue terriers. loves to herd our 20 year old cat but gentle with him too. Mud puddles are the greatest thing to him, have not had him in a large body of water yet. He seems to have more of the Newfie body shape with the exception of a curled tail.

Odinn

This breed is super! Odinn is almost a year old, we get stopped all the time on the street and he says hello to everyone! So super friendly - some dogs seem to be put off by this but it doesn't upset him! He's great with our two cats, although due to his puppyness he occasionally annoys them! He's sweet, cuddly, playful, energetic and happy!

Anyways, all I can see is this is a fantastic mix, adorable!!

Bruno

Just got blessed with a free Bogle at Wal-Mart. His owner had passed away and the neighbor rescued him after seven days on his own. I took her number just in case it wasn't going to work. This allowed me to learn more about him than I could in the parking lot. He is only 7 months old. He amazes me with his maturity yet whimpers wanting attention in the most precious baby sounds. That's the only reason he seems puppy like. Having just had to move my two beagles on I longed for a dog just a kind for my children without the "craziness". He is soundly sweet and tries to please. He seems very sensible. Yet he is beautiful. Twice dipped is what I call him. He has his mother's beagle tri-color coloring covered in the amazing brush strokes of his father's brindle splatters. I can't think of a better dog for my kids. He is not intimidating to my six year old boy yet can keep up with my 11 and 15 year old girls or even myself for walks through the park. So glad I stopped that day to inquire, "What have you got?" After trying so hard to find the perfect pet for my kids, now I know he's the perfect one for us. A designer dog from the Ultimate Designer.

English Mastweiler

I have a 6 year old English Mastweiler.Honestly he is the love of my life! His friendly disposion, quirky smile, and eager to please natue make him the absolute best companion.
As a puppy he was extremely easy to train. He is the perfect balance of smart enough to learn quickly but not so smart that he manipulates.

I wouldn't call him lazy but he does not require a lot if exercise. We joke that he gets exhausted by just paying attention. That being said he is totally down for a three mile walk. This is not a breed I would take for runs and especially not for hikes. He weighs 120 pounds I weigh 125 pounds, so I have to be careful to only get us in situations that he is safe. I could not carry him 10 feet if he was hurt. So avoiding vulerable situations is must.
He rarely and I mean rarely barks. He is also not particularly protective. However we have not been in any dicey situations. Something does have to be said for the fact that a 120lb rottie mastiff comes and goes with me. I guess if someone was steaking out a house to rob, the house with the English Mastweiler would be last on the list. Also I do have to say that I had a relationship end badly with someone who I got him with. At our final break up meeting, the ex rang the doorbell. I answered, Baron immediately walked between us and sat on my feet...an extremely powerful gesture. Because of this experience I feel the English Mastweiler will protect his family if needed but is able to use their stature to avoid negative situations arising.

Lastly my boy is excellent with kids. In fact he thinks he is one of them. Baron is a soccer player, literally batting the ball from paw to paw, and he might just be the best hide and go seek player ever! God I lothang dog!
It should be said that Baron is my first dog.

I highly recommend the English Mastweiler. Literally the best dog ever. They just have the squishiest faces ever ( we don't have a drooling problem).
