Our little Dorkie

We have a three year old Yorkie Daschund mix. He is the sweetest dog in the world to us and people he knows. However, he is very territorial and acts ferocious to strangers. He has longer ears and one of them stands erect while the other does not. That feature gets him a lot of attention from others. He has long hair and looks mostly like a Yorkie. He has a beautiful blond/light brown color. He is a great lap dog and loves to go on our boat. He recently had a six month old Chihauhau stay at the house and they became best pals.

Our little Wickitt

I got Wickitt for my mother as a Christmas gift in 2010. He is as cute as can be and loves to play, cuddle, and love. We also have three large breed dogs and Wickitt does not know he is much smaller than them. I had never heard of a Brusselranian dog before but we are all extremely happy with this breed. We got him at just six weeks old and within the first week of being in our home he had already learned that outside was the place to go potty. He is kennel trained and will stay in his small kennel all night even with the door open. If he needs to go out, he will cry until you take him. By 8.5 weeks old he knows to go to the door to go out and is learning to sit for a treat. He is curious and loves to learn new things. I will be sure to post more current updates in my blog. I would recommend this breed to those who have other pets and larger children. I think with proper supervision this breed could also thrive in a home with smaller children as well. Watch for updates as Wickitt continues to grow and mature!

My Weeman

Hi, we adopted Weeman a Dox-Bull when he was bout 9 months old. THe owners were moving and coldn't have a dog. They were scared to tell me, he was part pit and I was a bit nervous because the media has given them a bad rep. But I knew as soon as I laid eyes on him, I loved him. He smiled with his eyes, was the happiest dog and is still that way. He is the sweetest dog ever. He has a pit head and a daschund body. Loves anyone that comes to my door, loves to play, chase squirrels, go for long walks, ride in the car. I call him a gentle giant. He is not aggressive, the easiest going dog I've ever been around. He loves my kids. WE got him for our 6 yr old little boy who is so rough with him, and Weeman just lets him do whatever!

But he is Moma's baby. Lost my mom 2 yrs ago and this dog has given me unconditional love and helped me step out of the depression I've been in. Never knew the Dox-Bull breed really existed. This dog was sent from God.

Our Princess

I have had alot of dogs through my life and my mindy is the best dog. I was so hesitant when my hubby brought her home as a puppy that a pit bull would not be a good dog but the heeler in her really comes out inher loyalty and loving nature. Shes high energy and loves running around with the kids. And my children are little and she knows somehow they are more fragile then my hubby and I. Shes a great watchdog and even trained to round up our awnry chickens and that seems like her favorite.! great mix and would recommend this dog to anyone! she was easily trained and her only drawback is she is at your feet almost tripping ya! Think about a good mixed breed when u decide to geta dog. I think they get the best of both!

Good Dogs

I have a labrashepard (Bear Dog) who is now 6 years old..i have had him from birth as my hunting partner has the lab mum..she was supposed to go to a pure lab but jumped the fence to the neighbours shepard instead. I use him for retreiving wild game and works well in this role..i would recommend this cross as they are easily trained, willing and work well in the feild. I have freinds considering using this cross as finder bailers for pig hunting as well..
Ours is protective of his/our property as well and is brilliant with kids, plays with our pet wild boar and runs with our horse as well. They don't like getting to hot though so running them hard in summer is a bad look. So if you want a loyal dog that can be trained to protect, hunt, work and a mate i would recommend this cross.

Our Banjo

Our dog Banjo was a gift from our Pastor. We volunteered to keep Banjo while our pastor & his wife went on Christmas vacation in 2007. The rest is history. Banjo is the one of the best dogs I have ever had. He is very intelligent, loving, loyal, and loves to play. I think he has too much of the cocker temperament for my liking, but he is not much of a barker which we like. There is one draw back with him, and that is that he is scared of everything. we have to have him sedated to be groomed, which is costly. He's worth it though. He did originally come from the pound, so who knows why he's that way. He is a joy to have, he has never chewed on anything that wasn't his, he gets along great with our kitten Mandolyn, and our family loves him! dearly.
