Bronco the Daniff

Bronco is a Gorgeous beautiful dog with a soft shiny Red Fawn and white coat, big and floppy ears and huge feet. He is still a bit of a clumsy puppy. I have to watch him closly so he doesn't hurt himself. He gets into everything. He broke a toe when he was around 4 months old. His tail is long and strong with a huge head. He's a fathead. His coat is very easy to clean, I just stand him in the shower! I brush him every couple of days. I haven't had a problem with shedding at all.

He is smart, funny, always curious, protective, laid back, loving, sweet.... I could go on forever. He's the biggest lap dog ever. Loves to be with me no matter what. He is smart... but stubborn at times. He really likes to play dumb dog when he's in the mood. He barks a little sometimes. It's not his fault though, my house was broken into when he was younger and he's still a little bugged out by weird sounds at night.
At nine months Bronco is already bigger in the chest than most Danes I've met. He is lanky, but his musculature is very pronounced. He's heavier than a Dane, yet less massive than a Mastiff. His bones seem a little denser than your average Dane. So far his hips are great. His hindquarters are much chunkier than most Danes I've met. He has great definition in his hips and legs. He eats lots.... twice as much as your average size dog. Bronco just hit 100lbs. He's 9 months old as of Feb 15th.

He doesn't have any allergies so far. His general health has been great. He did have demodex.... so no breeding for my big boy. He has big white teeth.... he's not a year old yet so I'm not sure how it'll go. His mom and dad's looked fine though.

Bronco is an apartment dog. He is great. Some chewing though. Walking every day is a must. We have been going to the dog park since he was 8 weeks old and he loves to run around out there. He has a wonderful loping gait. Sometimes he has problems stopping. I think his breaks are developing as he gets older! I think he would be wonderful with a family. He is protective, but he loves people and other animals.

Bichpoo - Precious in Peoria

I recently purchased a beautiful, intelligent, playful, loving and friendly, (to everyone and all other pets, as well) Poochon. She is 3 1/2 months old and ways 2.7 lbs. She is learning very quickly and she's eager to please!

She is non-shedding and hypo-allergenic. She loves her brother and sister (a 4 yr. old Foxingese and a 12 yr.old Pekehund). She shares her toys or food without any show of aggression. She follows her 'mommy = me', everywhere.

I am looking forward to a long life together and I'd love to hear from other owners of this gorgeous hybrid!

Pekehund - Precious in Peoria

I can not say enough wonderful things about this hybrid. I had 2 litters. My last little girl, Precious, is 12 1/2 yrs. old now. She is the last of her litter mates left. My female  long-haired dachsund had 7 pups total. They all went to excellent families and I have kept in touch with all of them. Anyone who got to know these beautiful babies wanted one! Unfortunately I lost the father, my Peke, when he was only 4 yrs. old from an accident. That was 10 yrs. ago. The mommy, my long-haired dachsund was 12 when she passed. I miss them terribly!

Anyone who has gotten to know a Pekehund has experienced a joyful experience. From their beautiful eyes, their easy to manage coats and their loving personalities they are wonderful family pets. They get along well with all ages of family members, never meet anyone that they don't like, unless, of course, you don't like them! They are loyal, easily trained and absolutely precious!

One note: due to the nature of the dachsund, as they were bred for hunting small burrowing animals, they may not enjoy, or tolerate any animal other than a dog!

Foxingese - Precious in Peoria

I have a male Foxingese named Keenan. He is just over 4 years old now. He loves his family, especially his mommy.....me! He is smart and playful. He loves to dance. He stands on his hind legs, front paws stretched high and pawing at the air, and back feet just 'dancing' away. His coat is beautiful! He is white and buff colored. (I'll try to post a pic asap.) He does need brushed often and he does shed. But, he loves the attention, the brushing, the bathing and he doesn't complain at all, about being dressed up in doggy clothes, either!

He is a loving family pet; faithful and protective. Great watch dog. He lets you know if anyone even pulls up in the drive way. However, mine is timid, therefore, he continues to bark at strangers even when invited in, because he's afraid of them. My fault, I have spoiled him. We are working hard on overcoming this continued barking.

From his peke side, he's not especially fond of toddlers, but once they are older, he loves children. He lives with 2 'sisters'. A 12 1/2 yr. old Pekehund and a 3 month old Poochon.

I look forward to hearing any comments from other Foxingese owners.

Our Chipoos

My husband and I own two of the most wonderful Chipoos in the world. If you have looked around much on this site or read the blogs you have probably come accros mention of them (Lacey & Logan). They are both sweet loving dogs with HUGE personalities. Lacey can be somewhat tempermental at times if Logan is trying to take a toy or do something she doesn't like. She likes to growl at him to let him know to stop, but it is always a playful growl. Logan is such a playful dog. His favorite pasttime is playing fetch. He will bring you the toy and set it on your leg and if you don't throw it in about two seconds he will nudge it or flip it up farther into your lap to be sure you can see it:). If you are too busy to play with him at the moment he will entertain himself by throwing the end of his rawhide bone around the room and boy can he throw it. He has landed it on the coffee table a few times and almost made it onto our counter the other day. If he is not doing that he also like to bury himself under any blanket he can fine. I have read that this is a very prominent Chihuahua trait. I hear a log of bad things about mixed dogs, but I would not trade these two for a million bucks!
