Rocko

Rocko Joined our Family at the end of April, 2011, when he was a little under 4 months old. Over the past month our family has been more active than we have ever been. Rocko is so smart. He learned to sit in a single 5 minute session on his first day with us. He plays relentlessly, sleeps deeply (from 10pm-7am),loves fiercely (especially children) Everywhere we take him, people say,"Oh, his ears are soooo cute!!" And they are. They are soft, fluffy and adorable.Rocko cohabitates with 3 cats who he desperately wants to play with, They just don't want any of it. Rocko loves to: tug, run on the beach, fetch and then bury sticks in the sand, ride in the car, frollick in puddles, and play with and chew on ice cubes. This breed is amazing. Rocko is loyal and smart and sweet and cute and silly and playful. We got more than we ever imagined in a pet.

Porthos

We saved my furry little friend from a guy that had 5 pitts in 2 cages and none of the dogs had gotten a bath or a proper meal in I dont know how long as I walk through the most heartbreaking place I think I have ever been I saw a little tan ball of fur. I went over to the cage that had 3 other dogs in it and he looked right at me and those big brown eyes where asking for help. We could not leave him in that place. So we took him from there and called the aspca to save the other dogs. We have had porthos for about 3 months now and he is the most amazing little pup. He is great with our 2 year old and loves nothing more then to jump on your lap and lick you to death. He picked his person and has been at my side non stop. You can see both the Jack and the Beagle in him. He has the heart of a Terrier and the nose of a Beagle, this makes him a tough little dog. I dont know what I would do with out porthos.

Snoopy

Our chi-chon is 6, going on 7. He's the greatest dog we could ever ask for. Very cute, but hairy, does require grooming (we get him cut every 1-2months). He's all white, about 14 pounds, looks like a bichon with the sleek body type and longer snout of a chihuahua. A very fast runner, but not great at jumping (it takes him a few tries to get on the furniture). Has always been great with all people, totally trustworthy around kids of all ages, even when they tug on his fur. It's great to know I can walk him, let people approach and pet him, and not have to worry. Highly recommended dog for people with allergies and/or small children.

Goma

My ShiChi is currently 6 months old and from day one, he was such a sweetheart. He has black fur, around 4 pounds, and has the most interesting personality. You can definitly tell the personality traits from both parent dogs of the shih tzu and the chihuahua. I personally didn't get my dog from a pet store or a pound, but got it from a friend's family that had both a shih tzu and chihuahua that unexpectedly "fell in love" and made puppies! My puppy was the only one that was black out of all of the whole litter! My Shichi, his name being Goma, has none of the loud traits like the average chihuahua, most of the time he is chill, quiet, and craves attention by bringing his toy to your feet and sitting in a playing position, just waiting. He is also a very crafty and smart dog. He manages to find ways to get across gates that I have MADE SURE to blockevery small passageways but he always finds one small way. He is a very patient dog and deals with all my pestering and love, and he would do anything to get a treat from you, even if he has to sit and stare at the cupboard that contains his treats. Tempermant wise, he has no problem at all! I've made sure to train him very well, so although he nibbles (since he's apuppy) He generally does not growl or snap at anyone. He only growls when you are playing tug-o-war with him with one of his toys.He is also very fit! He does not overeat and only eats twice a day like any average dog! He also never runs away! You can open the door as wide was you want but he will never leave until you put the leash on him and get him ready! I walk him often so my puppy knows where to go and literally leads ME home. I live in a condo and although all condos look the same, he knows which is our house and goes straight to our door and wait for me to open it! And finally, the warm welcome that he gives you how his ears go back, his tail is wagging, and he waits behind the door is unbelivably adorable and heart warming! I do not regret getting my puppy at all. I would not get any other ShiChi but Goma since he is such a doll! A side note: The name "Goma" means "Little One" in the Korean language. At first I wanted to name him Rambo, but that's just silly. Goma suits him very well!

Exersize

I have a black, male Boxador. I have noticed over the past few days that my boxador, has been running around the house like a crazy person. Also everytime I go out side and I let him of the leash he goes crazy running running and running. So I started talking him on walks and I noiced that he stoped running about the house. So I figured out that our dog (boxador) should go out at least twice a day.

Molly

She is just over four months old and a beautiful dog. Her colouring is a very rich gold and she has a very gentle but playful nature. She is not a yappy dog but does like to bark when playing her favourite game. She is very intelligent and has been easy to train. She is now about 14in tall and about 13kg but is all legs.
