Harvey Eugene

My Harvey Eugene is the best dog I have ever had the pleasure of takingcare of. I know that is not politicaly correct-but that is how it is. I have had a few exceptionally loyal and devoted dogs in my life and a few adorable and fun-loving dogs-but Harvey Eugene is the very best of all of the adjectives. A sweet tan and black Cheegle with a heart as big as his rather long body, Harvery is simply put, the love of my life. I got him when he was nine months old and since then it has been Harvey and Michael(that's me) all the way. He crawls across my neck and rests like a fur-piece as we watch tv in the evenings. He sits calmly with his snout on my theigh while I read or grade papers for school. We walk for blocks and blocks relating to all around us,welcoming other dogs and thier owners along the way. Should you be looking for a companion, Cheegle is the way to go!

Glad I got him

Well I just wanted to say that I have a Dameranian puppy and I love himto pieces. He's the first dog I have ever had and I'm 34. I got him becauseI have three children that has been wanting a puppy, and for several reasonsI wasn't not thrilled. I got him at 10 weeks and I just fell in love. Now 2months later he is just like one of the family. I didn't even know what aDameranian was, but I was looking for a small dog that would be good withchildren. I came across my lil Buttaball, he was just to cute to pass up. Heis great with my 3yr old. Loves to run. Great watch dog. Loves his rest. Isa little clingy but you get use to it. Over all he is a great dog.

Lennon

Where to begin with the pros of having a Labrottie. Loyal, smart, protective, loving, playful, almost human like. I've been trying for years to think of a con and I'm still working on that. I got Lennon at the pound when she was 10 weeks old and that was in 1998. She was kennel trained which is a must. She is a golden red color throughout with the facial expressions of a Rottwieler. She has a beautiful tail that curls on her back and she weighs around 60 pounds. She was trained by the AKC kennel club and was one test away from becoming a therapy dog. The only reason why I didn't is because of the brushing it requires and honestly, she didn't like to be brushed that often. Her home and her people are hers and has the protective instinct from the Rottwieler breed but she has the loving/gentleness from the Retriever breed. She had the vocabulary knoweledge of most toddlers and had a fondness and patience for children. I often forgot that she was Canine and not Human. I do not think she ever thought of herself as Canine. She was the momma of the household but not the Alpha dog type. She is one in a million and will always be more special than any other "best friend" I will ever have.
