Our Weimaraner of almost 13 yrs died in april of 08 and we still couldn't move on we missed him and were still grieving for him, he was our child before we adopted our kids and he was so great with our kids never jealous and always loving them too. Then ever so slowly we started thinking about getting another dog but thought another weim would be too hard too much of a reminder of Duke so we started thinking about something smaller and I had always thought French bulldogs were cute and then when we really started looking and reading up on the subject we realized we wanted something a little more hardy with a little more stamina to go on long walks so when we learned about Frenchtons we thought it would be the best of both worlds and so far we are extremely pleased with our little guy. Still working on the potty training but our rainy June this year is not very helpful in this regard. He is ring the bell sometimes so we are just trying to be very consistent.
