brandy's Story & Details
we got brandy from a couple that moved from a house to a condo and they didnt feel it was fair to her to be stuck indoors most of the time. They had her since she was a puppy and we got her when she was 2. We have only had her since Nov. of 2008. She barks constantly at anyone who walks by the house. She is getting better as we are trying to get her out of the habbit. She is very overly protective of me...she freaks everytime someone comes near me or even if the kids hug me she growls . She growls because she knows she is not allowed to bark. She jumps at other dogs and barks like crazy but I think its only because she has not been socialized. She has never bitten anyone and I don't think she will. She just needs some reinforcement to show her that she is not the alpha dog. We are working on it and we have seen some major changes in her behaviour. She is a very loving and playful dog and seems to think she is my protector.
