Larson's Story & Details
My spouse and I were looking for a dog to replace the dog we had to put down a year ago. While surfing the web, we saw the picture of this tiny, cute little puppy available at a pet shelter in Gary, IN. I saw the picture, and I said that I wanted that dog. It was early January, and we went to get this dog under blizzard conditions. We arrived to the shelter, and were told that someone was interested in Larson, but had not confirmed when he or she were going to come to see the puppy. We got to meet him, and fell in love with him right away. We adopted him right away, and he has been with us ever since. He will be a year old this November. He is very friendly, and loves children.

This breed is extremely smart, so it needs a strong pack leader. It also needs a lot of exercise, or it could be a rather destructive dog. Larson love to chew toys all the time, so you have to have toys available at all times. Like all dogs, he loves to keep a routine, and any deviation from it can be problematic.

I have to admit that I love this dog immensely, and would have another Brat again. He is a very happy and rewarding dog!
