Gottie's Story & Details
We got Gottie in September of 2007 and have never regretted it! The only regret we have is that we cannot find another Puggottie to keep him company.

He is the most lovable dog I've ever owned! He has to sleep with both of us every night and needs to be 'touching' one of us. He lays some part of his body against you whether in bed or sitting by me when I'm washing dishes!

The vet had never heard of a Pugottie before and was very impressed with him. He said Gottie lives in his happy, happy world and just wants to please everybody.

The only thing he dislikes is being told 'no'. When you reprimand him, he sits up, looks at you and howls. He is like a two year old child.

When he needs to go outside, he doesn't bark. He will sit in front of my husband's feet and stare at him - nothing more, nothing less. Just this endless stare until my husband takes him for his walk. We always walk him - never just 'put him out'.

Gottie loves having his teeth brushed. Every Saturday morning, he comes into my bathroom when I am brushing my teeth and puts his paws up on the front of the vanity. He stays there, watching me brush my teeth, until I ask him if he wants Mommie to brush his teeth. He then goes back to the bedroom, lays on the floor and waits for me to get his toothbrush and toothpaste. I get on the floor with him and he opens his mouth and lets me brush and brush and brush. Never, ever tries to get away. Needless to say, he teeth are very white, bright and shiny clean!

Last, but not least, he is extremely patient with us. My husband has ADHD and, because of this, gets easily distracted. So, sometimes it takes quite a while for him to actually take Gottie for his walk.

If you want the best dog you can possibly have, especially if you have children, you need to find a Pugottie (and, while you're at it, please find us another one, too)!!
