I was fortunate to be in a good stable home because I was then able to rescue this boy. I swore to myself after my 3rd German Shepphard which had to be put down due to age, I would never get another dog. Unfortunately my mama passed away early last year without warning. A part of me passed with her, so the timing of becoming a hugh part of Chaka's life was impeccable. His previous owners were suffering from the economy and things were hard for them. There was no hesitation on my part to adopt him from them, that told me it was meant to be.
