My girlfriend was visiting with her 5 month old puppy who was not yet trained to come back. The puppy got away from me when I was approaching my house. The puppy started running away with the leash attached to her. My dog...Cracker darted after her and in a moment as I began to panic...she grabbed the leash in her teeth and tugged the puppy back to me, until the puppy complied and then Cracker proceeded to place the leash in my hand...it was the most remarkable thing I have ever seen a dog do! She then gave the puppy a takling to and yelled at her in her own way for misbehaving! What a dog! The puppy is now well trained but thank goodness Cracker saved the day!
