Abby's Story & Details
Abby came to us when my husband and I were considering a "little" friend for our American Bulldog Georgia. She was raised around little dogs and since we moved had been a little lonely. My husband had a friend who knew someone that had puppies. He went and looked at them, and HAD to take her. Her mother was a Great Dane and her father was a black lab. She was the cutest little thing, but micheivious, she got into EVERYTHING!!! SHe ate books, clothes, shoes.... anything that was left within her reach... SHE ATE IT! We kept her inside until she was about 5 months old, by then she had grown so much it was impossible to keep her inside, especially since she would get bored while we were at work and get into stuff... she loved to get on the kitchen counter and destroy produce. I can't count how many times I came home to tomatoes strewn all over the floor ( the look like a red ball mom!) haha She is 9 months old now and a whopping 80 lbs and eats like a horse, but she loves it outside. She has about 500 acres to roam but she usually stays close to the house ( that is where the pond, the kids and the cows are) All in all, we love her so much, she has been a great addition to our family.
