Rudy was a fortunate mistake of the accidental breeding of a purebred Affenpincher father and a purebred Norwich mother. The breeder raises and shows both Affenpinchers and Norwich Terriers and there was an "accidental" mating of the two. Fortunately for my wife and I Rudy was one of two born to this very rare combination of breeds. He is a male and he had a sister. Unknown what became of the female. He is a VERY loving and sweet dog and gets along fabulously with our female Norfolk Terrier Honey. I tend to think that he resembles his mother the Norwich much more than an Affenpincher.
I would be very interested to know if there are any other "Affenwich" terriers out there that were bred from 100% Affenpincher and 100% Norwich parents.
