Domino's Story & Details
She is a corker. She is the one who is full of trouble. Has her way with you by using her eyes. She is the black and white one. She weighs 7 pounds. Domino is my husbands little girl. He had lost Oliver, a peke who was his boy and couldn't get another peke. It just tore him up thinking of Oliver. So I went out on a search for a small dog that he might want. We had Quasar, whom decided right off that he was going to be my dog only and Lillith who only belongs to her toys. So he was really missing that companionship that he had with Oliver. I went to puppyfind and came across Domino's brother. I showed him the picture and he was not sure. Well, a day later when he contacted the owner, he was already gone but she had a female. Domino's mother was a small pekingese and her her father was a 6 pound brown japanese chin. This was the first time she had ever crossed bred the breeds. John fell for her when she sent me pics of her. She was in Tampa Bay Fl. When she was old enough to come to Texas,John was going to fly from Pa (on business trip) to Tampa and pick her up to fly home to Texas. Well, we were looking for a car and so happen the car was in PA. I flew to PA and we purchased the car, drove to Tampa and picked up Domino. Threw up on John as soon as he picked her up. She was a spit fire. We checked into a hotel and let her start to get use to us. She ran and ran and ran. Loved the mirrors. Then the next day we started driving back to Texas. Can you imagine how many times I had to keep saying No Domino No. We had her on the floor in a plastic crate thing. She would hook those feet in at the top and kept trying to get out. That we learned was not good. She would not sit still for nothing. Wanted to climb over everything. We put her in her cage that he had got for her to fly home in and we kept hearing her grunt. She doesn't bark. She just grunts to get your attention. That night we hid her and got her into the hotel. No big problem. John went for food and I let her out to play with her. She ran for the bed. Went behind the headboard. It was the type where the base around the whole bed was enclosed with wood and the only space was behind the bed. I'm on the floor with my head as close to the wall trying my best to see her behind the headboard and calling out for her. I'm thinking now this is not good, how do I tell John that he has to tear the bed down to get her out when he returns with food. About 10 minutes later I feel like I'm being stared out from behind. I backed up a tad where I could turn my head around behind me and there she was. Tongue out, tail wagging and ears perked. She took off for the bathroom and starting playing with herself in the mirror. Now she is going on 4. Still the same way. A little Prima Donna.
