Pure Pitt Bull

Hi

I have a male Rottsky. He is 7 months now & I am thinking of getting another dog.
I simply love Pitt Bull's, but I am unsure of whether or not the two would get along
I also would like anyone who has a Pitt Bull to please advise on the type of animal this is with regard to the personality of the animal,
Is it dangerous to have?, will it turn on the owner? Because let's face it Pitt Bulls are very intimidating dogs.
Any advice from a Pure Pitt Bull owner will be helpful. Thanks

Jumping

I have been having a big problem with Bentley, He is now 6 months old, his dad was a Rotti & mom a Husky
He just cannot stop digging up my yard
He has destroyed 2 fountains already.
The yard is beautifully landscaped but by the time I get home in the afternoon he has dug up holes all over the garden.
He digs in the flower gardens, next to the pool & any corner he can find. I fill the holes up once I get home but by the morning he has dug it up again.
I am caught in a situation where I don't know what to do. He is even digging & exposing electrical cables.
I have spent a fortune landscaping the yard & he is destroying it & I am also afraid if he chews into the casing & bits an electrical cable.
Please help someone

Swollen Nose & upper lip

I was so terrified last night that I almost cried.
Bentley was playing outside the entire day & at around 17:00 when I went to bring him in I got a shock.
Around his nose & upper lip had swelled to about 6 times the normal size. It looked so painful & scary.
& as being a Sunday I didn't know what to do because every vet or clinic was closed
It was so bad that it totally covered his lower mouth. His nose was completely extended forward , far past his lower mouth.
His eyes were closing slowly & then opening again whilst he was standing, he never did that before.
I gave him plenty of water & made a treat soft meaty meal for him as I was afraid his nose would get hurt trying to east his chunks.
I was so terrified I just held him in his blankly & monitored his heart beat.
I quickly googled it & checked that it has happened to dogs before & owners say that it could have possibly been an insect bite or spider bite.
I barley slept, I heard him howling in his room this morning. I fed him & let him out again.
When I left him this morning he seemed to be jumping & back to his adorable active self again.
His eyes were clearing up & the swelling was almost gone. I was so relieved. I didn't want to leave him today but I had to be at work.
I played with him allot this morning & he seemed much more active than last night. It was just such a shock to have seen that, it looked like out of this world.
I am just glad that he is O.K. & I pray that this doesn't happen again

I need pottytraining HELP!!!!

Hi I am also new to the forum & Bentley is the first doggy that I have ever had. I know it may sound silly but I'm 25 years old & never had a pet. Bentley is a 9 week old Rottsky, I am having trouble with him messing. I have emptied out the study & turned it into a room for him. In one corner is his food & water, another his blanky & sleeping stuff with chewy toys and on one side I have put paper. When in his room he is a good boy & uses the paper, but once I let him loose in the house he just messes wherever he wants to. In a month he is going to be left outside & sleep in his kennel. The vet says its fine. What should I do to stop him from messing inside wherever he wants to?
