mastibull is almost 6 months old at the time of this writing. 03/06/09. I have had almost every type of bulldog oh the market in my life, and I loved them all. This time I went with the largest of them all, the mastibull. This dog is amazing. He is naturally quiet, smart, loyal, gentle, and easy to teach. When I got this pup @ 9 weeks old he was 21 pounds. 4 months later he weighs 70 pounds. I am sure he will mature well over 100 pounds. Altho huge he is as quiet as a mouse. No barking, which I hear is normal for the breed. He doesn't even snore, and if you keep the nails clipped you won't even hear him moving in the house. Even at the alarming rate of growth, he only eats 5 cups of food a day. Another wonderfull thing about him is he will not cross over our property line, we live on under 1 acre. I could go on and on, but I won't. I recomend this dog to anyone. By the way he is great with my 2 and 3 year old grand children, cat, and other dogs.

Our little guy...

Our little guy is named ACE for the Amish Country Experience my 3 kids had in finding him here in Ohio. He is a year old, weights 6lbs, and is very healthy and loveable. He is at his best an adorable, maybe a little odd looking lap dog who wants to be completely snuggled up to someone 24 hours a day. At his worst is when the doorbell rings and his guard dog side comes out. He has frightened the tallest, biggest, and baddest football player friend of our daughter's and he will protect her at all costs. We don't know WHAT he is going to do when she leaves for college this fall. We did everything right, socialized him early on and have kids here all the time, but a little light bulb switches on in him when he thinks his "person" needs his protection. Somehow, despite his thinking that he is much bigger than he really is, we all adore the little guy!

Pugglepoos

Every Pugglepoo that I have seen, looks completely different. My Sophie has wirey hair, big dark eyes (like Cleopatra,) and she's very stocky. Sophie's sister on the other hand, is shiny and smooth. She's very shy, but Sophie hasn't met a person, dog, cat or child, that she doesn't like.

My Golden Shepherd

I love my Golden Shepherd. She is 9 years old but she is the best. I feel like I have the best of both breeds. She is as sweet as Golden Retrievers but she also has the protectiveness of the German Shepherd. I want another one when the one I have now is gone.

My Fourche Terrier

I adopted a Fourche Terrier Male when he was a 10 week old puppy. He has been very healthy, but has grown much bigger than I imagined. I have read that most Fourche Terriers are small dogs. Our's weighs 26 pounds, and he is not fat. He is 11 inches at the whithers, and 15 inches from collar to base of tail. He is longer and a bit taller than his Westie Mother.

His shiney fur is various shades of brown, rust and black, mingled together. He has a white patch on his chest and a milk chin. The fur is thick, but if brushed weekly, has never had problems matting. It does not shed. He prefers to be insde during hot weather. Our groomer gives him a Westie cut about every eight weeks, which keeps him looking quite handsome. If left unclipped, he looks like a small sheepdog. He became a bit itchy last autumn. It seems to have been a seasonal thing. He has displayed no health problems of any kind and has a hearty appetite.

He enjoys a brisk walk, but also is content playing in his fenced play yard. He enjoys playing fetch and is good with children and adults.

He is smart, affectionate, playful loyal and sometimes, very stubborn. I know of one person who had a Fourche Terrier that lived to be 15 years and 9 months old. The Fourche Terrier makes a delightful companion.

Theo

My dog is a Shih Tzu x Silky Terrier. He is the typical alpha male. Very small and very cute (which he uses to his advantage!). He is very intelligent and will watch you perform tasks and then will repeat them at a later date. He is protective of food and toys and is constantly finding treasures to hide in his basket. He is a loyal companion and often pick up if you are feeling upset or sick. He will wait in his bed until he hears someone get up in the morning and then believes that is his cue to keep them company. He is a passive dog, rarely barks and has no desire to "escape" the backyard. He is pleasant to cats and dogs, however, often forgets his little stature. His coat requires alot of maintenance. He thrives on attention but has the most lovely nature. He uses his good looks to get away with mischief, but he picks up commands and tricks quickly.
